Cheese...

Hiya, cheese anyone? 2nd journal, keeping it stealth still. Skunk has finished now, one of four left in flower an its a big mutha. I got some cheese clones from a client i did work for, they look gggrrrrrr-rreat! I started LST and pinching them early on because i only had a 3ft sq bow wit a 11w energy saver lamp in it. They are fat little fookers. Sorry for the poo pics, getting my camera repaired(ive edited these photos to get the best, sorry)! Oh yeah, if anyone has grown cheese before please could your tell me as much info as poss. Ta.

Hey Stuper!
Nice size bud in the last pic. You can definitely see the two main stems from topping on the cheese. What do you know about the strain as I am unfamiliar with it. Of course, so many strains, so little time hehe. Looking good so far.

Update!!!

Hi all, been busy lately? I tell ya the holiday season is the worst time for me, I go on winter sun hols so i dont mind covering but to loose 2-3 workers out of 4 made me sweat a bit. So some long hours, long sleeps and running bout like a twat drinking red bull i finally was told of contractors coming in to help me out. Thank you Ganja God youve saved my ass again!

Well my Cheesey ones are going crazy, i love the smell, how small and squat they are yet how many tops they all have. I bought a new extract fan for them with my filters and so fitted. Its made it all cooler than Damian Marleys album, i only wish i had bought one earlier instead of muppeting about with £9.99 DIY Bathroom fans. Dont bother to anyone thinking of it, they just arent up to the job.

Sorry for the poor photos, still setting up my camera and experimenting with the millions of functions it has, still you get the jist of what they look like. Im hoping these photo's work, im trying for thumbnail photos.

cheese has become a strain you can buy seed's of now as well or you can take your chances and buy it as skunk#1 from sensi this is where you would be more likely to get the cheese with out haveing to pay high prices for the seeds

Cheese, what does it taste like.

Ive got some at the moment to see me through my bank holiday weekend, it smells like really smelly dried out manky socks, when its growing out it has a sweet pleasant smell but you can still smell cheesey feet( i dont have a foot fetish or summat). The smoke, well give me a tick, let me roll one. Its salivating, you can never put a joint down its so tastey, i keep offering my j out and asking for it back.

Im still finding out about the origin of the Cheese as it has been going for ages in my circle of friends, i believe it was a clone brought in from Holland a few years (approx 10) back to be experimented with. Its proved so popular amungst us UK growers here, its stayed and spread like a really good disease.

Catch you all soon. So how do i attach thumbnail photos?

Spud

Edit: Ive just remembered the cheese strain was called Budda Cheese a while back, i guess Cheese sounds better an so it stuck.

nice to see u've earthed that plant........
Can't over-emphasise the dangers of lanky plants being struck by lightning during freak storms

they taste lovely sprinkled on lasagne or melted on toast with diced onion btw

He he, well earthed, you never know when the next storm will hit in my Cab(it took me a little bit of time for the penny to drop). For my safty too, stop me getting a shock off them if they start creating a bit of rubbing friction action with the fan blowing on them.

from what i've read at sensi's forum cheese is just plain old skunk#1 that who ever brought it to your circle of friends started there seeds and just kept the best 1 as there mother but it is still just plain old skunk#1 from sensi which you can get the seeds from them for olny 45 dollars american i've seen cheese seeds go for close to 100 dollars thats double the price that youd pay if just got from sensi

Brie would be closer Plan A.

Im not to sure Ice, i read that piece you found on Sensi Seeds. If i read it correctly it means there is a strain more like/derived from skunk#1 called Cheese. My previous grow was Skunk#1 and my 5ft monsters barely resemble anything like my current Cheese, different smell, size, quicker to finish ect. I found this info at this website for you to read if you wouldnt mind, i dont understand how there could be two types of the Cheese strain unless ive got an original and its been messed with since then.
