STATUS UPDATE : DAY 251 THE BIG DAY HARVEST!!!!

It's done.
They're finished.
I killed them both at day 53 of 12/12.
Not quite according to plan (56) but the trichomes told me they were ready.
It took me nearly 3 hours for each plant in the last to days to get it done.
Next grow around I'll snuff out all the minor and medium budsites and just go for the fat nugs.
Here's some visuals :

I already did. I still say about 3/4-1 ounce dry per plant. I could be wrong. Congrats on completion of second harvest from plants that are almost as old as me

AWWWW SHIT!

I bumped my head into the HPS reflector.
HARD TOO!
It was turned off and cool but it kept vibrating for a few seconds.

Some of the insulation material in the bulb, in between the glass and the metal, seems to have cracked.
Some of it is loose in the bulb itself, you can see it at the black base of my bulb.

See the damage I did :


How bad is this? Did I kill it?
I did not dare power it up yet!

Lucky me the HPS still lives. My heads OK too.

Looks great! funny how everyone always wants to start out pure floro, but those HPS just work their way in soooo nicely hehe

The end result are in :

plant 2 yield = 67.7 g
plant 3 yield = 42.5 g

so totalling 110.2 grams (personal best yield so far)

in 104 days, running 216W fluros for 51 days and 400W HPS for 53 days.
That's 272W average ----> 0.405 gram / Watt. (also best personal so far)

So the second harvest yielded more then the first 110 vs 70, so that's an improvement.
I could have done a lot better without that pH 5.0 problem.
Regenerating plants is timeconsuming but you may actually end up with a bigger second yield because of the added vegging time which means bigger plants.
If you can keep the soil OK during all that time that is.

I keep having that itch.
The I could have done I should have done itch.
So I started a third grow, just to get rid of that itch!
So I can do beat some personal bests again!

Nope that's dry weight.
Trying to make your estimate work?

I guess this means the ventilation in my growbox is still too much.
I waited until the biggest nug dropped below 5 grams, which is less then a third of it's wet weight of 15.something.
The smaller nugs crumble easily so it's dry allright, ready for some curing.

110 grams/28.35=3.88 ounces total.

And by all means, please check my third grow.
I'm sure I'll need some of your guidance along the way.
