is there any paintballers on here? i want to get back in the sport. i havent played since i was 16 so i dont know whats good any more. i am biding on a impulse now. i know its a old gun but i used to have one and loved it so i want another. so what are some good new guns? show me what you have.

Laughed off the field? Honestly? People like you are the reason I don't play anymore.

If you love the old impulses by all means go for it. You're smarter then the guy who bought an 09 ego brand new and paid top dollar for it when there is no true difference between it and the 08. (omg .343 oz reductionz and bettar eye logikz)

Just get a set up and go out and play. I doubt you'll be able to jump right in to the "tourney" scene but just get your head into playing shape. If you can rock with the impulse you'll rock with a shocker or ego or borg or well you get the point.

i hate the ppl that spend 1200 on a new gun or even worse mommy spends it and then hates on you for having a old gun. i play for fun i can not afford a new gun or a highend gun. but i beti can still slay ppl with my old gun.

I used to play when I was around 16 too, I stopped around 21, and just play some rec every now and then. I used to be a total gun whore, so I've owned or shot most of them. Nothing beats the class Diablo Matrix LED imo. It's a heavy beast for sure, but man with that trinity bolt in there, it was amazing. I'm a sucker for the classics I guess. The impy is a fine gun, and even though there's sort of a Smart Parts stigma around here, I'm still a fan. I had a beta 03 shocker, back when they first changed the design of them. It was a horribly designed gun in terms of electronics, I got rid of it asap for my current Freak Factory impy; I consider it my "backup". I have a shocktech 2k5 timmy which I bought, shot twice, and didnt even play a tourney with. For some reason I just stopped at that point lol.

I wanna check out the DM9, and the Gen 5 indimidators look pretty good too!

haha, ive only been a few times, and ive found that it isnt the gun, its the player, to some extent.
my whole family is into guns and things, so i was brought up around them, therefore know how to shoot them. in urban type courses, my tippman owns all.
i love the kids that have 1200 dollar guns and whole suits and stuff that just sit behind a bunker and blind fire
me and my dads friend i go with just run up the sideline, laying waste to everyone we see. but every now and then you get owned.
i just play at my local place every once and a while, i dont get into it enough to spend loot on the sport

I was mearly suggesting a different gun because in all hoensty NOW a days. Impulse's SUCK, and they suck really good. They are HUGE, HEAVY, and if it's stock, you can max out teh board with EASE. thats 3 damn good reasons to not get one. Oh and ion's are cheaper and just better guns?
I didn't pay a cent for my gun, my sponser handed it too me thankfully I'm good enough that i don't have to buy it, BUT, fuck you for just being a douche.
And again fuck you that theres no difference, the eyes are 1000000x better, and i feel the gun is more consistant all around than the 08 i used to shoot.
Next time before being king of the douchebags ask some questions before you make yourself look stupid with assumptions.



To the OP I wasn't trying to completely trash your gun i mean i have a teamate who swears by them i was mearly stating theres better choices out there if your aiming for preformance, if you just getting an imp for the love it than good luck to you, and enjoy it. Sorry if i sounded like an asshole.

freshhh gunn and as far as those timmy's go i wouldnt waste your time, imo they suck but i havent been a fan since they came out with those weakkkkkk empires.

i got a dye autococker. its kinda old school, but it rips as hard as any new gun cuz its fully upgraded.

i stopped playing when i got into smoking last year, but im gonna get into it in the spring (its brick cold right now)

Yeah I'll have to agree with a poster above me. Poeple like you are why I stopped playing on alot of fields. Little fourteen year olds laugh at you because you have a marker older then them and they got some 600$ shit thier mom bought for them.

All the fields I go to now have a respectfull atmosphere.

If someone gos onto a field with a 4 year old spyder semi..... Hes got alot more balls then you do with you're 15.9 bps and paintball suit to reduce pain.

And hes probably been playing paintball long enough to konw that without him and his old friends, thier would be no sport left nowadays.
