Ions are nice. I suggest picking up this trigger for it if you get it.

I don't think they come stock with locking feednecks either.

Re: paintballers

first of all, reading some of the posts in here, my only thought is: chill the fuck out, guys. let him shoot what he wants. hell, i ran an e cocker in 07/08.

now i'm running a 1 of 1 05 xsv ego (new internals, dark frame, blah blah blah). i've owned everything from brand new vices to pre-2k cockers, and I enjoy the older markers more. they have more personality then say, the new RX or geo.

anywho. I was going to play d2 nppl in 09...but nppl no longer exists. was going to play AXBL, but the franchise i was going to play for folded (eventhough they won their conferance last season). so now i found out that the local MXL team is running tryouts...might aswell rock them and get on a team for 09, right? lol

Haha, I've always been a timmy fan for as long as I can remember. I've never been a fan of the dye matrix (matrices?). It's a shame that Bob Long has so many different versions of his guns now. I remember back in the day when people would get classic timmy's and throw on a clamshell grip. Those guns are essentially the exact same open bolt design as they are now.

there hasn't been a new design for a DAMN long time. it's all just the same stuff...just smaller, lighter, and more efficient.with the PSP dropping ROF to 10 bps, and the fastest league being the AXBL/MXL (15.4 ramp), you can play with anything. There really is no new innovation. Hoppers are feeding faster (unneccesarily fast), markers are what I just explained, and air systems are getting smaller. The industry needs change to help sustain paintball as it is now. and whoever asked: there are quite a few leagues. there is now 1 REAL national league (the PSP. I'm not counting the USPL until they have one successful season). other leagues you hear about are mainly regional. Although they are growing rapidly (the AXBL began as the NYPL (new york paintball league) but is now all across the northeast, has pro players in it, and even has international players).either way, my ninja pb 68/45 should be here on friday, lol.

Nope, you're right. Just like I said, the Timmy's are essentially the same design. I don't know how much further they could really go in terms of efficiency, accuracy etc. Lol, its nice to hear air systems are getting smaller now. I hated having a max flo connected to my impy just for consistency. I remember the PSP. What hapened to the NPPL? Did they merge or just disappear? A few of our Armature teams here went to world cup (NPPL) and won 1st place in a few of the rookie events (xball if im not mistaken). They got mad sponsors after that, then they broke up, reformed, became douche bags and went to a different field.

When I stopped playing there were so many newbs coming in that it was hard to get team night, or even a decent game where people weren't using spyders whatever. I'd imagine that tons of new people play now; just imagine all the newbs wandering around the safe area with no condoms or plugs in and their finger on the trigger *shudder*.

Any gun will work, I know people who rock pumps and embarrass ignorant kids like Queen here. Its funny because THEY are the ones walking off the field crying.

Get a Phantom, they last forever, and they are cheap. And you wont burn through paint.
