I thought I would start a thread for the tea lovers of GC to share their favorite types/flavors, share great places to buy tea, review teas, and everything else that is associated with tea.
A couple of my favorites are Jasmine Pearls Green Tea, Dao Ren Green Tea, and Red Roobios. I would highly recommend trying all of them. I buy from a place called Mountain Rose Herbs. I would definitely check them out if you prefer to buy organic and fair trade.
Feel free to share!

My cupboard is, at any given time, full of about 20-30 different kinds of tea (I have a 'Dragon Pheonix Pearl Jasmine' in stock as well).

Some of my favorites are
- Dong Ding Oolong
- Da Hong Pao (Big Red Robes)
- Tie Luo Han
- Jin Xuan Oolong
- Tie Guan Yin (yun xiang type, not sure if can find it in US, I can't find any online yet unless I go wholesale sites in china which is simply too much...)
- Silver Needle
- pre qing ming dong ting Bi Luo Chun
- Matcha
- Vanilla Roobios
- English breakfast tea brewed with orange rind, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg with milk and sugar/honey
But honestly, I can't do traditional tea ceremony right if I am baked. I always over brew cos I space out lol

I like to brew up a nice pot of oolong, add a few doses of tincture, and melt the day away
Canna goes great with jasmine, and especially with a few different oolongs.

I absolutely love the jasmine teas as well. They're just so floral! I'm going to go brew a cup right now!
i just picked up some monkey picked oolong from teavana last weekend and im loving it. i like having a cup of chamomile peppermint tea too.
I'll have to add peppermint chamomile to my list, that sounds great.
i need to try some new teas!
Indeed you do! There is a good list going here, so you take your pick.
oh man, my favorite tea are mostly from the oolong category. If it's oolong tea I always brew them tea ceremony style

It looks like i really need to try some Oolong! The next order I place that will definitely be what I get. I need to finish what i have first though
How was the Vanilla Rooibos? I saw that and was contemplating buying a bit. I love Rooibos as it is, so I feel like the vanilla would just make it even better.

And while I had my 'stash' out
tea cookies (spiked with a pinch of english breakfast & caravan tea).

(There are a few over seas vendors I like to use, but Stash has access to so many teas,
that every time I plan to place an order for just one or two simple, staple items, I end up
with a dozen or so that I didn't plan for

Needless to say, it's been a pretty good morning

Wow BadKitty! That is a sweet little setup/stash you've got going there! After next years harvest I'm going to look into making some hash tincture. Do you just add it to the tea after you steep it?

I like to add a dose (or three
I usually prefer ceramic or the bodum glass tea pots, but I tend to relocate frequently, and the old stainless kettle has stuck with me through three or more shattered bodums and a number of cracked ceramics.
Most seem to wind up destroyed by unfortunate friends, helping me move.
I do have a photo tutorial for glycerin tincture in the stickies, over in the edible section. Wild Will has a good thread as well with a ton of member discussion on the topic. Once you've harvested, have a look.

Carlo: I like the vanilla roobois a lot, I think the vanilla seems to make it a little more smooth and mellow, but that's bias since I love vanilla ^^
If you want to get into oolongs I would recommend dong ding type, seems like most my friends who had chinese tea with me find that the most easy drinking

Usually I just drink sweet tea.
I used to drink some African Orange Mango tea but I can no longer find it anywhere.

I also like Moroccan Mint Green Tea especially iced on a hot summer day, and Geisha Green Tea has a really nice flavor. Spring Cherry Sencha is a favorite of mine iced, and I also like a stout black ice tea that's been left in the sun to steep. Never any sweetener, it ruins a good tea.
