Yo gc, how is everyone? So my girlfriend sent me some bud, in the mail since she lives a few hour away. I was excited - this was my first mail pickup. I have a new camera and decided this would be a great time to post some pictures. Sorry if "dank pickup" threads annoy you...lol


So she sent it in a peanut butter jar, been told it works well.



I was pretty excited. She had told me about this amazing shit they had been smoking, and how she felt bad that it was so dry up here for hash bash.
Anyway, I pull the bud out:


Somethign was wrong. Upon further inspection, I realized that it wasn't bud....IT WAS CHOCOLATE!!!!




damn she got me so good! I totally forgot about april fools day!

A little advice. The peanut butter was used for covering the smell I am assuming. That will not work against a dog. Only against sight if they open your package. Dont get false confidence thinking this is a fail proof method. When mailing, your biggest problem and risk is dogs. However, with millions of packages being sent through the system the odds are in your favor of not getting caught. It would be impossible to screen every package. But a small percentage of them do. I would guess its less than 1% of them. That doesnt mean you wont get caught though. Its a very minute chance but the consequences are quite severe. International shipping is a hole different story. Most of law enforcements efforts go after the big fish...people sending pounds and importing into the country.

I used to know a guy who would send through the mail. What he would do is a double vacuum seal, sometimes triple if it was a hefty amount. He would then hide it in a discreet item. One time he even used a broken VCR. He even included a birthday card! But even this method is not 100% safe. Nothing is...well nothing economically feasible however. He would also only overnight packages. You dont want your package sitting around. Smell will seep through even a vacuum sealed bag given enough time. Also do not handle the pot without using gloves. A dog can smell microscopic particles from you touching the bud then touching part of the package. Use gloves while handling the pot and then throw away. Put on another pair. Be sure to thoroughly wash your hands in between changing gloves. I know this is an inconvenient and time consuming process but If I ever shipped I would do exactly this. I could only imagine how shitty it would be sitting in a jail cell thinking "only if..."

Anyways its late and if you dont want to read it all here are the main points:
Vacuum seal 2-3 times.
Overnight ship
Use gloves when handling
Nothing is 100% fail proof

Overall my advice would be dont ship...IMO the chances of getting caught are small buts theres always that chance. Its not worth the risk. I am a very precaution oriented person and would never ship...nor receive...you can get in trouble for that to. Good luck!

good post overall except for this part. You deny all knowledge of said goods and you certainly don't know why this package was shipped to you. You can't get in trouble as it can't be reasonably proved that you intended to receive these goods.

Now, if they're working a case on you because you're receiving weight from a MOM and they have phone taps, computer logs, etc.. you may be fucked

To add to your tips for shipping

Obviously the sender should not use their real name or return address, and send package from a drop box location. If you're receiving and it's a regular thing.. rent out a P.O. box for gawds sake
