Ok so here's the deal. I recenty bought a shroom grow box from amazing nature, and the type of shrooms it grows is Stropharia cubensis. Well it's been about a week and their website said to harvest them when they are about an inch tall. I immediately harvested them when they reached that height (they could've gone longer) because I wanted to eat some shrooms since i've never had them before.

Well last night I took a couple (about 6 one inch tall shrooms, not sure of the weight), and today I took about 15 one inch shrooms. I didn't feel anything either time. I looked online and the shrooms i'm growing look exactly like the Stropharia cubensis shrooms, and they turn purple when you touch them (I hear that's a good sign?).

I guess what i'm asking is would the shrooms not affect me if I didn't let them grow long enough, or better yet does it matter if I didn't let them dry out before eating them and swallowed them whole without chewing them up?

I'm just trying to figure out why they are not producing any effects. Luckily though if they are fake, they aren't poisonous, I had no ill effects.

Ok nevermind, i'm finally starting to feel the effects (3 hours after eating them?). We'll see how this goes. :P

Next time let them grow out longer, and then dry them out.
Eat them on an empty stomach followed by orange juice.

Well overall it was a good experience. I had no visuals what-so-ever, which was kind of disappointing, but I had an intense body high of just feeling really good. I'll try a bigger dosage next time and try chewing them.

One question though, is tea the best/most potent way of taking shrooms?

Maybe it didn't contain psilocyben (sp?).... I don't know, but if it didn't - then that may be why you didn't get any visuals...

why did you not goto erowind and read up all about the drug before taking them.?

put them in grinded up in pure lemon juice and eat it all. the acidity of the lemon juice intensifies the psyclobin

If you're eating them fresh, it will take about 15-30 to equate to an 1/8 of dried...which is the usual amount to trip off.

I'd recommend making a tea to achieve some nice effects off of fresh mushies. However, it really seems like you didn't take too much thought into this project. I would have done a little more research, on mushies themselves as well as on growing them.

In short, dry them up and chew them.. If no effects ensue after this point.. Add lemon juice.. If no visual hallucinations occur... Try another company.
