salvia and torch lighter

Hey my friend and I just picked up some salvia and I was wondering if a torch lighter was a necessity. I've smoked salvia before and used a torch lighter and I was out of it but this time I'm sitting for him and we just used a regular lighter and it doesn't seem like he's really feeling it. So I'm just wondering if I need a torch lighter because I don't want to waste mine.

I know people who tried using Bics; they didn't feel anything.

Go with the torch. If you're not tripping make him use his own lighter.

Ive never heard of this problem b4. I have done salvia 30 or so times and it was all with a bic...

ive never smoked salvia but sat for people a bijillion times while i smoked ganj. we always used bic because i refust to smoke weed with a torch since it wastest soooo much. when they do salvia it always seems to be with my bong and bic.

When i had salvia, I used a torch lighter, and it worked great.. but i think you can use a bic too, who knows.
