| A new appreciation for...... the NHL?
So, I sit here watching the Boston Bruins take on the Carolina Hurricanes, and I realized how much I love hockey. It all started yesterday when I watched the Red Wings take care of Colorado rather easily. This appreciation is really rooted in the second of that three game day. I first witnessesd playoff hockey with the new rules and it was awesome, St. Louis through hard work and a little bit of luck pulled it out against the Stars which was a great game. THen watchin the Islanders and Penguins trade shots in the OT and go to a shootout, I love hocky again. No I am not Canadian, but I sure as hell love hockey...  Anyone with me? |

I'm glad you've allowed hockey into your life. Without fans like you, there wouldn't be enough american teams for the canadian ones to beat  GO SENS! |

yup, gotta love hockey, though im more of a fan of college hockey than the pros...GO BLACK BEARS!!  i still like the bruins tho, and they seem like a whole different team since thomas has come in net, hopefully they can keep playing good....

i just went to a ranger islander game the other night at nassau colliseum....i blazed in the parking lot, and saw a sick game, funny b/c the rangers fans outnumbered the isles fans like if it were msg and every 2 seconds it was DP clap clap DP haha

fighting seems to be just a part of the culture of hockey. if you fight in a hockey game usually all you get is a few minutes in the penalty box whereas if you fight in any other sport you get ejected and usually a few game suspensions. so is fighting accepted in college hockey?

I was pulling so hard for the wild to beat the Avalnache, it was ana amzing series, that was a great yeard for the Wild Go Bruins and Blues (I'm from St. Louis) but ehh they aint doing so hot, whatever hockey is the shit... |
