well today on the way home from work my dad told me somethin fucked up in an extremely ridiculous way, he said "well i got some good news for you, i went to the doctor today n i have skin cancer"

who the fuck says that?

dont bother sayin "oh i'm sorry to hear that, that sucks" cuz when he told me i had no kind of reaction whatsoever, it was just like he told me i got somethin in the mail

jus felt like postin a life event

skin cancer isnt anything....made 80 yr old grandmother got it twice they just burn it off with a laser like every old person in my family has gotten it and gotten rid of it

Yeah, most skin cancer is easy to treat, my mom survived it twice. Still sorry to hear it hope everything works out for the best.

i dont really talk to my dad anymore, and as to his welfare i dont care much about that either. i agree that its majorly fucked up the way he told you that. i dont think id have much reaction if my dad told me that except mayb "sucks to be you"

Only certain kinda are like that. Melanoma is deadly.
Hopefully they will biopsy something and it will be nothing to worry about.

usually skin cancer is no big deal at all. a simple trip to the doctors office and a little zilicane (sp?) is usually all it takes to remove it. many people in my family have had it and they just got it cut or zapped off and they were fine.
