Good lord, I get sick of people every day here on the City insulting others for using drugs that they wouldn't use themselves. How do you feel when people insult you for using weed?

Just because there are negative side effects, however serious or negligible, doesn't mean there is anything wrong with using ANY drug to alter your state of mind. As long as the consequences are acceptable to the individual taking the drug, then that's fine by me.

The prescribed dose of Xanax isn't the maximum safe dosage you can take; it's the minimum dose required for the therapeutic effects your doctor wants you to get out of it.

If you are using it to alter your state of mind, you can take much more than the recommended dose and you'll be fine. You can smoke tons of weed and pop a few Xanax, and you'll be just fine. Coke is another drug I know that can be mixed with Xanax.

A side effect of these high doses is memory loss...if you can handle that and it's worth it to you, then go for it. Snorting them is a good way to get fast, hard-hitting effects. Despite what anyone says, snorting something doesn't make you any sort of "druggie" or "junkie." It's just an alternate way of absorbing the chemical into your body. Just because they wouldn't do it themselves doesn't mean there is anything wrong with you doing it yourself.

Indeed, I will admit I'm being hard. However, in the case of our original poster, I stand by that he should ask his doctor as he is being prescribed Xanax for a reason.

I'm actually not even sure what Xanax is prescribed for, but I'm pretty sure it's a psychiatrist's drug. Anyway, while he could ask his doctor, I can tell him right now from experience that taking a couple Xanax and smoking a ton of pot won't hurt him. Memory loss IS an expected side effect, I'm warning him of that. But other than that he'll just have a good time.

that couldn't have been put any better. but yeah i've had my fun with bars and i've mixed alcohol and weed with it. it just gets you more fucked up and just sit back and enjoy it while it lasts.

Look man Ive taken plenty of pills and then turned around and smoked my ass off. My worst experience was when I took a sleeping pill,but I felt so fucking good. just take the damn things and smoke a joint, if you like the high keep at it

i used to be on xanax b/f i found out that it was a big. I was on .5mg 3x day and had over 5 bottles. I never thought twice about smoking or drinking while on meds. Smoking is really mellow and if you fall asleep you can have some pretty trippy dreams. But i caution you to drink i drank a a fifth of absolute while i was on my meds and i saw triple for about 20 min then i blacked out for 4 hours. Everyone said my eyes were total pupil it looked like village of the dammed or some shit

dude dont listen to that one guy smoking on xanax is always fine. Especially if its only .5mgs. Shit when i was a bar head ive eatin 20mg in a day smoke drank it dont matter. And im talking almost constant smokin. I say take like 10 of those peaches and smoke the fuck up
