"one hit shit"

we've all heard of people refer to certain weed they've come across as "one hit shit." but too many people misunderstand the term i think. it doesn't mean you take a one hitter and are totally blitzed out of your mind. i mean, new smokers might feel that way because it's new to them and a bit overwhelming. but i tend to think the meaning has strayed away. "trainwreck, mindfuck" whatever you wanna call it. that weed just gets you very high in one hit, whereas regular weed gets you a buzz and requires more to get you higher. one hit shit should just get you damn good, not rip you out of your mind. it's near impossible for anyone who's been smoking for at least a few months to get totally blitzed off of one hit of any kind of weed. i've smoked a lot of weed in my time, but not once has any strain "ripped me out of my skull" in one hit. i expect a good solid high right off the bat from one hit shit, not a blazeout.

I agree. I have smoked some primo bud in my day, but never have I come across a strain that got me really fucking high from just one hit. Maybe one tiny bowl would do it, but not just one inhale and exhale.

One-hit shit for me, is just stuff where I can feel a lot of effects after the first hit. Typically it takes a few to start feeling high, but with one hit shit I'm starting to get high while the bowl is still being passed around. Doesn't mean it knocks me on my ass or anything.

Maybe one hit shit is more like what you call it when you're smoking up someone who hasn't smoked in a while (low tolerance) so you just say hey, take one hit and quit for a while because this is some good shit. I have seen a couple people claim to be "too high" so... who knows.

I used to get Jack Herrer... That bud fucked me up hardcore, lol. I had a good high goin after 1 hit. Not totally trashed, but good and high nonetheless... A nug the size of a dime (as in the coin, not the bag) was enough to get 3 of us blaaaazed, and we're no r00kies... I'd definately consider Jack Herrer one-hitter buds. From the first hit you know you got some top-shelf nugget.

agree with you man.... i have smoked stuff where one hit gets you nicely stoned for a few hours... but not "totally ripped"... 2 hits really does it tho...

so my definition of one hit shit is stuff that if you only take one hit of you will still be quite high...
