Thoughts on testosterone booster supplments? Read plz. :)

Ok so I've been recently thinking about taking a natural testosterone booster

(i.e. viraloid: viraloid.discovertotalhealth.com or 6oxo, or other)


I'll be upfront with you guys of why I'm making this thread.


I suffer from some low self confidence/esteem. Also I feel that I have to much estrogen production.

I don't get any females, and I don't even feel confident enough to really talk to them. But I just don't think I'm attractive enough for them. I work in a store where I interact with people all the time--so at least I'm gaining some confidence in terms of talking to random people.




However I'm curious...


has anyone ever taken a natural testosterone booster supplment before?
What where your results? Physically AND emotionally?

Did you gain more confidence/esteem? Did you become aggressive? e.t.c.

What about the physical results? Noticed more muscle mass? Looked more "ripped"?

If I take it will I become fat? Or will it be muscle mass--and I'll look more definded/tone?

Becuase I'm not trying to gain fat mass. If I was to gain any sort of mass at all--it would be muscle mass at this point.


Would a natural testosterone booster work with toning workouts? Or do you HAVE to do strength lifting?

What about side effects? What happens after you stop taking it? e.t.c.? (i.e. aftereffects e.t.c.)


So basically I really need some help with my confidence levels, and a good supplment to take when working out.
I'm trying to tone down, yet keep muscle strengh. I guess look "better for the ladies".

I've tried consuling before e.t.c. to raise my confidence levels. I know that this natural testosterone booster isnt' going to instantly give me a huge ego/esteem--but at least it will help me over this platue of negative thinking/low self confidence I've been having lately.





Anyhow your thoughts on natural testosterone boosters?
I really need advice here.

Your talking to a guy that spends alota time in the gym, and you'll hear alot about legal hormones there. I tried GH once, with testosterone in it, and yes you'll get angrier. You'll have a hard on every five minutes, and you'll start breaking out in pimples unless you use proactive. All natural is the way to go, plus working out will already boost your testosterone.

PS: you can end up with nasty side effects, like slightly deformed jawlines n such.

Yeah like he said, i honestly wouldnt go for it, but if thats what you want to do, yeah, it will work.

But dont just think that u can take some pills and everything is gonna be cool. I dont know if you are looking for "muscle" added to the self esteem, but if you DO want the muscle, you are gonna have to work out while on the pill too. At least twice a week.

(but shit, if ur doin that, u should take some other shit to help u out too, ask if u wanna know some shit)

But from what i've seen, yea u can get a lil cut (ripped) and usually you feel better(healthwise) and think u look better so... you actually FEEL better about yourself. The better u feel bout urself, the easier it is to pick up girls.

I wouldnt take them for an extended period of time, i would use them until you got what you wanted, then slowly cut them off and replace them with vitamins and other supplements.

Some people might say no, but try it out, if u think it fits u, then do it.

p.s.- dont eat such shitty food if you do. Unhealthy food makes u feel like shit if you eat it too much, eat a salad now and then or something... and try to stay away from sodas

Ya--well I eat really healthy e.t.c.
I do workout at least everyother day. So I won't just be popping these pills and not working out.

I just wanna know if it will have the results that I want.
i.e.--boosted self confidence/more self esteem, and more muscle defintion, and helping/aiding me to tone down.


I've been doing toning excersizes currently btw.


Also--I work in a supplment store, so I know all about the other shit to be taking e.t.c. e.t.c.
But I've never triend out a natural testosterone booster before.
Actually I haven't tried out that many things.




But if this testosterone booster can give me that extra boost of self confidence/esteem (if it helps me to feel better about myself *thumbs up*), and help me with muscle definition/toning down---thats what I would like.

I used to be pretty much the same way as you. The truth is that the pills will most likely not make a difference. Maybe a placebo effect... but no major difference.

Here's the truth: Your looks don't matter when it comes to women. Yes, if you're Brad Pitt, you can just sit there making fun of females forever and you will still get girls. But if you know how to speak properly and you are confident, then looks do not matter.

I used to think I was the ugliest person ever, I never ever said anything to a girl. Literally, actually. I just lived with the fact that I was just 'born wrong' and I have to suffer now.

Then I started speaking to a girl online and I showed her my pic, and she said I was VERY cute. I tried this out by asking other girl's opinions and by the end of the week, I was the cutest guy ever. But I still couldn't get girls... I wasn't confident, I didnt' know what to say or do.

I noticed that all the ugly ass kids in my school had GFs. I wondered how could this be? Made no sense. Then I started following them around and eavesdropping on them. I learned that they are just confident. They don't care (or maybe don't even know) that they are ugly. They just flirt and crack jokes. That's all there is to it.

I also go to the gym and I take supplements (protein and such, not testosetrone, I have a lot already, I'm a hairy fuck -- Anyway, yes, it does improve your self esteem when looking in the mirror, but you still need to be able to go up to a girl and say something.

You will probably not listen to the advice but I suggest that you start noticing how people speak to girls and why the jerks always get the girl. The main reason is confidence. You can be a slob, a bum, obese.. whatever. If you're confident, you're going to have girls notice you. OR you can try taking Ecstacy and then going up to a girl when the effects kick in ; ) (joking)

I'm not sure how you would go about gaining confidence though. I'm still trying to figure that one out. I am a bit more open now.. I say jokes more openly. I'm not afraid of people thinking they are corny or stupid. I just say them, speak whatever is on my mind, etc.. it does seem to work, but I still have more to go. Good luck.

However I think I am going to try out the testosterone booster for just a couple of months--not that long.


You think a couple of months of useage will show negative side effects after I'm done using it?


Once agian I'll be going to the gym e.t.c. e.t.c.
and still going to the gym after I stop taking them.

Yep, you'll notice the same differences I listed above. Lots of acne, hard ons, possibility of rashes, and anger. I forgot to mention you may notice extra hair growth. I STRONGLYYY suggest you don't man. You might try it for a few weeks then not like it. And btw toning exercises won't do squat. But weighted squats will. With lots of dedication, and the heaviest weights you can lift, you'll start gaining "some" muscle. Even on testosterone it's not like the muscles gonna sneak up on you. Go heavy or Go home! Anything less will make you a bonerack. Good luck!

i used to have a problem wit bein shy n quiet all the time back in the day but that all changed whenever i started smokin weed but i'll assume that since you already post here that smokin weed didnt do the same for you.... i don know to much about anythin like that, but u should definitely go to the gym like everyone else said or find something your good at and just get real good at it, nothing like having some type of skill that ur better than most others at to boost your self esteem n confidence.

But you see I'm already buff--I'm a big dude, I just want to tone town.

I've been doing this toning workout rutine for a week now--now on my 2nd week.
Theres a plan for the 1-3 weeks. Then the 3-4 weeks, and finally the 4-5th weeks.
So hopefully by the time school starts for me I will be more tone looking.




My stradegy is to tone down, and then once I'm more tone--I plan on lifting/doing strength training agian.

Becuase honestly---strength lifting is a lot more easier for me.
But ya--after I tone down I'll start to strength train agian.



but when it comes down to it--I'm mostly trying to make my arms look bigger/more ripped (biceps e.t.c.), and I'm trying to cut my belly fat down.





Will the testosterone booster help with muscle definition in doing toning exceriszes?

Hormones will make you grow, you'll probly see some extra definition. But they're expensive. Why not go buy yourself a $30 tub of whey protein, and a $40 tub of creatine. I guarantee you'll be pumped. But on creatine you have to drink lots of water to stay hydrated. And when you're working out you'll only feel the pump. This has accounted for some injuries before. Just don't overdo it and it's a fast acting supplement. And each protein shake is like eating a large piece of chicken.

I'm a girl, and I gotta say the confidence thing is dead on....that's what I want in a guy, more than a perfect face/bod/weiner (although these bonuses won't be turned down)! If you really think you have a problem with testosterone production, go to your doctor. They can refer you to an endocrinologist who can actually do some testing and determine what the issue is. Otherwise, just be confident. Fake it if you have to....the more you do it, the more you'll believe it, and eventually it'll be second nature.

just my few cents...

i remember my old gym teacher said do 600 crunches a day every day and a couple months you will have a six pack.....

i never did it so shit if i should know

for toning... alot of people dont know (not saying you dont) that eating more is how you gain more muscle, so maybe try cutting down on the food, and cutting down on how much you lift(weight wise) and what not and just do more reps...

The secret to great abs gentlemen. Here it is, abs are made in the kitchen. It's pretty simple, count calories. 600 crunches a day will just give you a stomach ache. Like any other muscle you have to work it out. Do controlled crunches on an incline bench with a weighted slab on your stomach. But only do it every second day so your muscles can heal. Even so, you'll only get abs by eating healthy.
