Seriously; I live in a little pink-and-white house that I wish was in Northern California and I have ONE cat, a beautiful bebe, and a sexy husband. I cook and I write and I read a lot and watch movies at night with the hubby after the babe is tucked away in bed. I take my child to the zoo, museums, story hours, and he is the light of my life and the cutest little one I have ever set eyes on.
My husband and I have been together for over 7 years, married for four, and we are sickeningly, amazingly, still in love.
I dye my hair and I sing silly songs to make my child laugh and we dance and play drums a lot. I dress him in tie-dye somedays, all in black on others, and just like a regular baby on still other days. I am the center of his world and it can be overwhelming at times and completely flattering other times.
I like sparkly makeup but I hardly have time to apply it anymore. I am an armchair activist but I hope to be more active in those sorts of things soon.
I work part-time as a bartender/DJ and I love my job, but my main job is being a mama.

I spend entirely too much time on the computer and I wish I could smoke more than I do sometimes but all in all, my life is pretty sweet. It works for me, anyway.

I totally know what you mean, wanting to know about your fellow City denizens! I love to imagine what some of my "online friends" do with their lives when they're not wasting time online. Haha.

I'm 18 male, located in New-Brunswick Canada! Finishing up my last year of high school (started one year late) and work at a retail store. Hoping to attend either McGill Uni in Montreal or Uni of Ottawa next year to study medicine. As for passtimes, well I don't have that many. When I'm not working, it's either because I'm eating or sleeping (at least it feels like that). I'm a big SOAD fan, going to see them in T.O. just before school starts. This summer I've started smoking marijuana and I have to admit it's been one of the best summers ever.

though i smoked rediculous amounts of weed for years, i have found lately im just not so interested anymore, which has worked out great, since now when i blaze, i get rediculously tokered up. i work odd jobs around town, having been in many stores and businesses in the past few years while i work on an education. all my classes are bogus, and my aim right now is to become indiana jones. i have yet to decide if im joking or not...

i play the guitar, ive been told im really good for the 8 months ive been playing, but i still think i suck. i write annoying songs in my spare time. i love horror/thriller movies, and rent them very often. i suck at girls, but i never found it a huge deal anyways.

when im nervous, i make really odd and strange comments. it turns people off very fast, but ive found the ones that laugh often turn into good friends. (many of which arent girls)

i have a car that is uninsured and slowly turning green. i LOVE riding my bike. i go for bike rides that take hours around my town. its the only exercise i get.

18 guy live in city wit mom n shit, smoke weed at least once a day, done x pcp acid shrooms and will do again. smoke mostly alone and do most drugs alone because everythings better when youre alone, sometimes. sometimes im with people but sometimes im not so its better when your doin it.. so i do it like every other day. but i smoke everyday no matter what even if im alone.

o ya, i like to tottally trip like alone becasuse:

i usually wake up, hit the gravity bong once, take a shower, chill and throught my whole day just do normal life siht like walk around, walk dog, read, shop, etc.. then like hit the gravity bong 3 more times in a row right before dinner and have a family conversation with bomb ass food.. and life seems normal but your high so thats a trip

I'm 18, I live in Wisconsin, near Milwaukee and am going to college soon. I live with my parents now but am going to move out soon. I work at a day camp and get abused by 7 year olds all day. I'm 6"4" and get asked if I play basketball at least 4 times a day.

I listen to way to much music and people tell me I take it too seriously. I haven't smoked in a while but I just got my obscenely low paycheck and am going to get some bud today.

Life is good what can I say.

31, live in Norway. I work 50% nightshift at a psych ward. That means about 1-2 nights a week. If I need more money, I can work as much as I want.

I share a tiny house with 2 mates. Most of me time is spent playing music, I play in 2 bands and have me own little electronica/trip hop project. And being a good musician, I hang a lot in bars with a lot of other still unsuccessful musicians. And I play on a lot of jam sessions.

what do u do on the psych ward? i was thinking a while back about taking a psych nurse course. i love the psych patients. i work in emerg (admitting) so i see alot of em. some are very interesting

I used to work at the security ward, but that one is a bit heavy. I got sick of being threatened with all kinds of things all the time. Now I'm at the adolescent ward. 13-18 years old. I work mostly nightshifts. We're 2 active nightwatches and 1 passive.

Usually we see to that the kiddies are in their rooms by 11. If they ned help with anything, they come to us. We have to check on them regularly. Especcially the suicidal ones.

Sometimes we get a new patient in the middle of the night, like last nightshift. Call from the trauma admittance (heh, your job), wake up a doc and prepare a room. Kids who are admitted at night often come with police and are a bit edgy. But we haven't had too much problems with that.
Doc comes, me'n the doc have a chat with the new patient (if they're able to talk or listen) and see if we have to keep'em and what to do.


Nightshift is very different from dayshift. We don't practice therapy at night, that's the day staff's job. I work dayshifts, too. Kids go to therapy at the doc's office, then the docs work out therapy and medication together with us.

Psych ward is interesting as hell. You won't believe how many strange characters I've met. And it's great to meet some of the kids a few years later and maybe have a little chat. See that they're ok and the time inside has actually helped'em. Quite rewarding.
