smoking and usage

Hey all, just wanted to rant a bit, havent been posting too many threads lately.
So anyways, im going to a program soon called job corps, (they give you free training and a place to live) im thinking about doing heat and air conditioning repair.
But, im gonna have to give up smoking for a while, i dont know how long for though. Guess ill just have to stick to my medications, i take 4 prescriptions for all my wonderful disorders. All ive been doing is staying home, not looking for a temporary job (i blew off publix), and just getting stoned..Im not tired of it, but i think its time to try to get some responsibility.
What i dont seem to understand is why the government says this drug is the root of all evil and everything wrong with the country. Ive been a hardcore stoner for a long time, it has its ups and down.
But, now i want to try to get back into a normal life, which means getting out, seeing my grandparents (they've been paying my bills so i can sit in this apartment and do nothing but smoke pot), taking my meds normally (i havent taken them in a while like i should be).
The hardest part is going to be actually kicking it, i still have over 1/4 left + 3 fatties. You know how hard it is to just be sitting around, nothing to do..
So far the plan is to stop smoking long enough to get through job corps, after that who knows..
Let me know what you think, if you've had issues where you've had to give up doing what you love because of responsibility, etc.

Im just trying to make a better myself, i gave up recently on another thing too. I was involved with the white power scene for about 4 years, just decided that their mind control was no better then what the government tries to force us into anyway.

So, two steps in the right direction, just wanted to let someone know how things are with me..

cool my dad does air and heat repair and stuff like that. he said he could get me a job and training for it but i want to know from a fellow stoner if its worth it =P

thought you said white powDer scene, was thinkin it was coke lol.

Nah, never tried coke, lol. You should take him up on his training offer, that would give you a great job, for sure.

don't blame your lazy ass on weed or stereotype us that way. some of us, while we may "sit around and get stoned" like you said...we also lead productive lives and have ambitions/plans. that's the difference. you can still lead a normal life and smoke.

the more i read your shit, the more i get pissed. and you're a white supremacist? i know people fit their stereotypes sometimes, but damn.

No no, im not associating weed with being lazy. It was my own choice and im taking responsibility for it, i chose to make myself lazy and smoke pot to fill the void of boredom. No need to flame me, you're entitled to your opinion, and no im not a white supremacist, please read into what i say first before you make your own judgements, thanks. Thats in the past though, best to move on. If you dont like me, ignore me.

my advice, and how i quit was to pick up another hobbie. Instead of your mind wandering to pot think of something else that maybe wont be as much fun, but will at least keep you from the drug. Try picking up an instrument, or if you are into computers learn flash or photoshop, its really a challange.

Text Signatures: 4 lines normal size OR 8 lines small size and up to 90 chars per line. Font sizes above 2 are not allowed.
