Plant/herb extractions 103-Making a Sinicuichi extract
So a Sinicuichi extract is much easier then a wormwood extract.
The wormwood extract is alcohol based and requires days of waiting for all the present alkaloids to come out of the plant material and into the alcohol, and then waiting for the alcohol to evaporate e.t.c. Sinicuichi is a *water* based extraction. Meaning that the alkaloids simply come out in water. Since water does not ferment specific plants/herbs it simply is in a sense the same process of making tea. So first of all a bit about Sinicuichi. What is Sinicuichi? Well Sinicuichi is called "Heimia salicifolia". Heimia salicifolia is a perennial shrub with small narrow leaves and yellow flowers growing up to 1.5 meters. It has been identified as the Aztec hallucinogen "sinicuichi" though this fact is controversial. Sinicuichi is reported to be an auditory hallucinogen, but the effets of H. salicifolia are not well known. Sinicuichi does have some slight hallucingionitc effects. Auditory hallucinations are common on this plant, yet with the extract auditory hallucinations are less common, and visual hallucinations are more common. Sinicuichi is classified as a "auditory hallucinogen". Yet after making this extract and smoking it myself I have come to notice that the effects are very much like pot--but with a more hallucingionitc like effect. So--lets get down to business here shall we? ![]() So what you will need for your Sinicuichi extract (I'll list these off): 1.) A pot for your Sinicuichi to go into and water, this will be placed on the stove top 2.) The Sinicuichi of course! lol! Go to www.iamshaman.com You can only buy a min. of 1 oz. Yet I suggest 4oz (which is what I'm personally getting next--and if I have the $ I'll even jump on 16oz {1 lbs} of this stuff). The more the better with any extraction--if more is used in the beggining of the extraction process the potency and quantity will be greater with the ending product. 3.) A wooden spoon/somthing to mash the Sinicuichi with 4.) Cheese cloth/a strainer 5.) Scraping tools Ok now onto the steps: 1.) Take your Sinicuichi and place it into the pot. 2.) Cover the Sinicuichi with water--just like making soup per/say. 3.) Turn the burner onto low--until the water starts to steam a tiny little bit. 4.) Ok heres the important part lots of people overlook when making Sinicuichi extract. This is the key element in getting all the alkaloids out of the plant. Take your wooden spoon and push/squeeze the hell out of the Sinicuichi in the water--the water will turn brownish, you need to squeeze the Sinicuichi hella until nothing comes out of it anymore. 5.) Once nothing is coming out of the Sinicuichi anymore--take the Sinicuichi out of the pot, and place the Sinicuichi onto a cheese cloth/strainer thats over a cup--and squeeze even more--squeeze it hella--get as much out as possible until the Sinicuichi is dry. 6.) Now even take that Sinicuichi you just squeezed hella and make a simple tea with it--place it in your tea maker, or in a big tea bag--or whatever, and proceed to make tea with it. Drink this tea. You probally won't notice any effects from this tea as basically all the alkaloids are out of the Sinicuichi by now--but its a good idea to drink it anyhow becuase your body gets adjusted to the Sinicuichi, and thus its easier to intake the extract. Plus if there are any alkaloids left in the Sinicuichi--drinking the tea will insure you've injested all of them. 7.) Go back to your pot of water/Sinicuichi alkaloids. The water should be somewhat low by now. As the water gets lower you will start to notice stuff floating ontop of the water--it looks like goo. This is your extract. Continue to slowly simmer away the rest of the water until no more water is left. You will be left with a nasty looking green/brown sludge at the bottom of your pot. 8.) Rip out the scraping tools and either scrape now when the extract is wet (which in my opioion is easier) and form it into balls if you want to smoke it like a bowl, or just scrape it and put it onto a plate to be crushed up like normal extracts are (i.e. Salvia extract e.t.c.). 9.) Wait until the Sinicuichi is TOTALLY dry. No moisture at all. Must be totally dry for the best smoke. You can try to smoke the Sinicuichi extract when its wet--but it doesn't work that well. 10.) Smoking the Sinicuichi extract is rather easy--as it burns pretty well when smoked. It won't burn like pot though, and somtimes one side will get charcoaled/blackened and you have to rotate the Sinicuichi "bowl" in the bowl piece to make sure you smoke as much of it. And when all sides are blacked up--break it in half to make sure you smoke the inside e.t.c. 11.) Enjoy!! ![]() Sinicuichi extract is a great mellow high. I personally really like it. If your lucky and you get a good extract made you may experiance a full blown psycadelic experiance--no not anything like shrooms or lsd, but you may get some minor visuals e.t.c. (more like slight colors and stuff like that--nothing big). Sinicuichi is a nice relaxed feeling, its differen't then pot, you feel alive on this stuff, everything looks so much clearer e.t.c.\ last time I smoked Sinicuichi extract was at the beach. It was so relaxing just watching the waves move, and the water--and the moon, all of it combined togheter made for a awesome experiance off of this stuff. Combine Sinicuichi extract with pot--or hell, any other drug/substance and you'll insure yourself a good time. My friends have smoked Sinicuichi extract while rolling (on xtc) and they said that it really contributed to their high. Its very mellow. Many people report Sinicuichi worth it. Note--you can just make a tea of Sinicuichi if you desire--yet smoking it insures a better injestion way of intaking all the alkaloids. Next class (104) will be on somthing considerably harder--dealing with extracting lsa from morning glory seeds. It will be a synthsis like method--so be prepared. make sure to read 101, and 102 for education purposes--and to get a better understanding of how extracts work, and what they are all about. peace ![]()
