After seeing the movie, i got star wars fever... went to walmart to look for trilogy, decided i was too broke to buy ($42), went home and got some sleep... then dreamt i was in star wars.
It was damned good, i felt like it really had that classic feel to it throughout, and especially the end

I just saw episode III , or half of it at least. It wasn't bad but it was kind of weird.. Like the director put the budget in the wrong areas. Background music needs a little work, and more of it. George Lucas probly spent half of it on graphics alone.
But that buck robot with the four light sabers was dope.

Ok, I saw it last night at a late screening. In my opinion it was really shit. It was too long for my liking. The acting was very poor, especially from whoever it was playing Anakin.
The script seemed very limited and predictable for almost every actor. I just really hated the acting. Yeh... way too cheesy. The special effects are always amazing of course, but not as special when theyre constant throughout the whole film. Just had to rant about that. |

who has EVER watched ANY star wars movie with the hopes of seeing oscar-worthy acting?
![]() NONE of the movies had great acting (a couple exceptions aside), but this one captured the feeling of the first trilogy much better then menace and clones...I mean, I don't wanna spoil anything, but even R2D2 kicked ass

Hey guys, I just got back from seeing the new Star Wars, and like the other 2 newer Star Wars I was dissapointed.
Did anyone else feel like Anakin just went from good to evil too quickly? Of course he was supposed to turn into evil Darth Vader in this film, but it doesn't happen very believably. Suddenly he just vows allegiance to Palpatine out of nowhere. It all happened way too fast, first he's a confused Jedi then suddenly he's a menacing Sith all because of the promise of immortality for Padme. And Obi-Wan leaves Anakin alive after being given strict orders to kill him at all costs, even after he witnesses him nearly kill his own wife and attacks him. Just doesn't make sense. It completes the story, but not very convincingly. I still feel like there's something missing. The film was great overall, but as a Star Wars fan since 1st grade I just don't feel satisfied. |

Obi-Wan wasn't given orders to kill him. Yoda just said to "go with the flow" and he'll find out where Anakin was. Did I miss something? Most people are always saying that some parts that happened too fast, acting wasn't good and so on (why dont you try acting on a blue screen talking to nobody ) I just take the movie as it is, cause its not gonna change and some parts made my jaw drop (right at the start with the space battle and the fight between Sideous and Yoda in the republic hall). The fight scenes and visuals were amazing, and the dialogue was also very good. I dunno about you but Anakin was eeeeevillll. Anyways this is my "best movie ever". I can't stop thinking about it. The only time I did was when I was playing Knights of the old Republic ![]() If youre going to see the movie.. don't compare it to the last three episodes (IV,V,VI) 'cause its totally different. Try not to think about the plot too.. basically go see the movie without any expectations.. yea thats a better way to say it.

The final Star Wars... I disliked it. I thought it was just ok at the best parts, and the rest was just so-so. First of all if I never see a movie with CGI again I will be happy, it was done well but I am just kind of tired of cgi. I would go in to more detail but I don’t want to give anything away. I did not buy his descent in to the dark side, it just seemed rushed and I donno it just surprised me that that was the reason he turned to the dark side. It was almost like he was stressed but just decided ok time to be evil, I wanted him to be crushed by his emotions to the point of falling to the ground. The action elements were ok; I just am not a fan of action anymore. I am sure I am one of the few people that disliked it. I would say in my eyes it deserves a score 5.5 out of 10. I don’t know what else to say about it really other then I am just disappointed in George Lucas... Oh well it was his creation he can do with what he pleases. I really wanted to like it, I was trying to lower my expectations so that I might be surprised but I guess I did not get them low enough.<o ="">
</o>Let it be known that I was a rabid Star Wars Fan. I even went to some fan festivals before, played the MMO for over a year, owned all the movies... All of that jazz so I was not just some person who sort of liked Star Wars. Just over the years I have grown to dislike what Lucas did with his license.

I loved the noo
dude george lucas obviously knew that it was a cheesy and over used phrase. But it's also classic. Star Wars was just begging for a nooo in my opinion. It finished off the film nicely. I wouldn't take the noo out if I had the choice. You guys can't seriously think that George Lucas had no clue that it sounded cheesy. If every single one of you random average viewers think that wtf do you think GEORGE LUCAS thinks?
![]() Oh and most of the reason I like star wars is because of the whole force thing man... there is a force in real life (you obviously can't lift objects up into the air with it and shit) you know what I mean, Like karma but not really. Just what holds everything together and well, just life. Sigh... there goes post 420.
