i was wonderin for all you smokers than been smokin for years, in your own personal opinion, do you think weed makes you stupid?

it certainly can...in my personel experiance i have known people who have smoked for 35 years plus and they are smart and extremly succesfull.. then again in highschool i knew ppl who smoked 2-5 years and were complete fucking idiots... just like anything else some people who do it are idiots and some people who do it are smart... research has shown pot doesn't change that only you do... id meet smoke smokers from your area and see whats up

No...I don't think it makes you stupid. I mean...I guess it might affect everybody differently but I personally don't think it does. It does make me wanna just sit back and do nothing...but not stupid

If you've ever seen a stupid stoner they were morons before weed. Weed is an intellectual herb and expands the minds of the willing.

yah its basically if you are stupid you will stay stupid, but if you have any intiiative you will do fine, you just gotta keep yourself motviated, i just say i get all my HW done i can smoke a bowl type deal....

a lot of the dipshits you see who act ate up/have the sound in their voice were that way before they started smoking. you just forget that part. and some people act ate up but are cool as hell. i've managed to stay normal. if anything, i've only become more confident and laid back but still motivated to succeed in life. although i will admit, if there are days upon days where sobriety doesn't see daylight and to be honest, i couldn't care less about anything. then i stop and come back to reality to pay bills and life in general. and i don't use it as an escape, btw. i see it as a place to go.

Thats a tricky question. marijuana leads the lazy to be lazier because it gives them a scapegoat for their inaction. I think an excess can distort your mind for a few days after you stop, but in my non-medical opinion i havent seen any one be permanently damaged. Often failures will just point at marijuana as an excuse so they can disregard their own weak character. I think most anything can be healthily administered in moderation

Of course, im not a doctor, just a kid from the 'burbs outside of philly who likes to smoke, so im not sure how professional my opinion is

Some people are bright; some people are not so bright. Weed has nothing to do with that. It will fuck with your short term memory and I'll willingly admit that.

I don't remember shit. I have to write everything down and then I usually forget where I put the list. I can give you detailed conversations from years ago, with the tones of the voices and the scent in the air...but whatever is going on now has to be on paper or I'm lost.

I know some highly intelligent stoners so as far as the question goes...no, it doesn't make you stupid.
