GUYS: whats your stance on chicks hitting you? if some crazy ho comes up to you and starts tryin to literally fight, throwin bows... the whole nine yards, do u sit there and take the beating or swing back?

GALS: if youre trying to fight a dude, do u expect them to hit u back, after all u are a human being and are physically attacking another human. its only animal & human nature and instinct to fight back, so whats ur opinion?

the story is: i was at a small party type thing at a buddies house and he has a redneck family line and his cousin whos a downright redneck, hes like in his late 40s, anyway, we got into the conversation somehow of girls fighting guys, and i was stright up like "no, if a bitch come swingin at you, u got every right to fight back and defend yourself" and these rednecks are like "nah, manne, thats part of being man, takin the beatin" and i replied "well i dont come from a redneck line" and the dude was like "u callin me a redneck" and it was funny cuz everyone knows he a bigtime redneck and he knows it himself, anyway, overall, i stand firm for my belief, when a person comes swingin at you, you have every moral right to swing back, regardless of sex, if a female has the nerve to strike a man, then she should expect to get strucken back, if she starts fightin a dude and is expecting not to get hit back, then she has serious problems becuz thats just wrong to strike another human being and expect to get away scott-free just becuz of your gender, thats like power abuse knowing a person ur gonna hit isnt gonna hit u back, and for the guys, if u would never hit a female, and shes straight up kickin ur ass, and u sit there, then u also have a serious problem with your mindset on what society expects of you becuz of where they have placed your moral standards to, which is disgusting to live up to standards that others place on you and is also sick that youd live by standards that allow your body and self to be physically raped of ur human morality rights

I agree with you. There is nothing wrong with defending yourself against any assailant, so long as you don't throw (or kick) the first punch.

I'd just walk away, it's just something I was raised with, don't hit girls. now the exception to this rule is if it's some chick that knows martial arts or boxing..If I'm getting my ass kicked I'm gonna let loose...

i thought about this recently when i was thinking about equality for women, and i thought in all honestly i wouldnt have a problem with hitting them, because i am so un-violent if ANYONE (male or female) started on me they would fucking deserve it to push me to violence

i dont see the problem with it, but thats maybe because i am a skinny fuck who would be an equal match for a female unlike a normal guy

I've taken enough martial arts to be able to defend myself without hitting someone. Parry. Block. Lock. Disable. They're all easy enough.

Anyone that wants to learn good martial arts needs to try jujitsu. Find a form that focuses on locking and redirection instead of throws and you can mess people up without getting hit. You can cause just enough pain to stop someone or much more and never have to trhow a punch. Of course, with some of the other forms of martial arts I've messed with, if a guy pisses me off he's going to have a few blows landed on him.

^^^ You have a good point, I.W. At school I always found that trying to punch people and shit is pretty daft - you stand a good chance of missing or just making them more angry. It's best to be able to lock / disable / pin them until they calm down or you can run. With girls... I'm with Frank White. Either the girl is big and strong enough that you can't restrain her, (in which case it's an equal match and you have every right to stop yourself from coming to harm) or she's dainty and will probably calm down.

My dad used to beat the hell outta my mom all the time...I would never hit a woman. If you can land a few punches on her, then you can just as easily pin her down.

Although I disagree that you shouldn't hit someone just because they're a woman, their (generally) smaller and weaker bodies make them more likely to get seriously hurt than a man. So I'd go with the grabbing the arms strategy (which is what I often have to do when I'm being tickled beyond acceptability), or if they're going particularly insane (with fighting, not tickling) then I would probably just run away... in a dignified manner...

Hell yea I expect them to fight back. I was raised by 3 guys who wern't much older than me. I can kick ass and I wouldn't be fair if he didn't fight back.... If I were to punch a guy in the face and he didn't hit me back because I'm a female, I'd respect him a lot more and Id feel like shit.... but if I wanna fight I'm gonna hit and expect to be hit back

If a woman was trying to fight me, first off I would simply defend myself, and try and restrain her. If I really felt I was at risk, I would hit back, which would hopefully be enough to deter further attack.
