Life and living in the Netherlands


So..... A quick Q for those of you that live in the aforementioned area.... what is life like ? I can imagine that its fuckin packed overthere with people... whats the average cost of living? are there alot of appartments (in amsterdam that is).. what about farmland? i recall something about most of the NL is below sealevel or something?

I'm only ask cause I'm sick of living where i am and would like to be ~1k miles from my current location... just wondering if its as great a place as I imagine it... i see there is an international seaport (europoort)... that looks interesting, and I might even be qualified to work there....

dunno just a random thought... please chime in if you live or have lived in the area
