All the lingo my friends and I use is scientific/medical related...I don't think it's very common, but I do not remember how it started.

"Doing some research" = smoking some weed.

"A doctor" = a known toker.

"Having a doctors' meeting" = smoking in a group.

"Making a house call" = going to a dealer's place or to a house where someone wants to smoke.

"Performing an autopsy" = clearing out resin to make a hit of hash.

"Horticulturist" = grower.

I don't know if this counts, but to let my friends know that i've got bud I flick my right ear lobe. We can use that in front of anyone without raising any eyebrows.

me and one of my friends always used to say "we're gonna go grab some cds" or " we gotta go get some chicken wings" to discretely express the fact that we were going to go burn one, haha

down here ive smoked with many kinds of smokers
but heres what we usualy say to describe our level of intoxication (we don't realy say "baked")

buzz - when you can barley feel it kicking in
high - when you can feel your eyes squinting
stoned - when it takes you 5 minutes to figure out "45+51-97=?"
blown - super high, your body feels all sorts of things and you start having these small twitches. (usualy only kush gets me high enough to say this)

we dont realy give nick names to joints and blunts cauz we are always smokin with somebody new, and we dont want to confuze them.

The only thing that has a name is my bong "Mr. Blue"

we call weed "soccer balls" the peice is the "field" and where we can go to smoke is a "net"
so when we're talking we're like... "we're going to go play soccer, does anybody know where a field is or where we can find a net?"

We make up a lot of words but we have a pretty set lingo for paper rolled weed.

Joint- weed rolled in cigarette paper
Blunt- weed rolled in cigar paper
Doobie- weed rolled in anything nasty (ex. a kleenex, notebook paper, the sunday comics, candy wrapper, anything plastic- that is harsh!)
