how old do you need to be to buy the vicks 44 or whatever. i found some at the market with just the dxm as the active ingredients but since it said 5% alcohol i was unsure.

u don need to be any age at all, although if u were 18 u wouldnt have to worry about it cuz thats the top age to buy any OTC meds, alot of shit got alcohol in it but that dont make it necessary to be 21

i wouldnt go with the vicks 44 man. while it has a fuckload of dxm per dosage and dxm is the only active ingrediant, it isnt worth it. Since it's so much thicker than robotussin (youll know what i mean when you drink it) it metabolizes a whole lot slower. if your gonna go the vicks 44 route id say have like 3 shots ready. because of the taste, and because it will help everything move along a lot faster.
oh, not to mention that in my syrup days, vicks 44 was with out a DOUBT, THE WORST STUFF you can drink, period. its so thick that it globs down your throat instead of sliding. the 1 time i made the mistake of using vicks I couldnt even drink it from the bottle it was so thick, i poured it into a cup so it would go down faster/easier. if ya can't find the tussin max strength than id say just dont do it.
hate to have your first time on dxm be shitty cause you used vicks instead.
then again, since you prolly dont know the sickening feeling of downing a bottle of tussin either, have at ya!
