We need a new 4:20!

Parents are, becoming aware of these underground holidays, and soon enough employers, then soon the media will be all over it. I support 420 and celebrate regardless of my opinion of what date it should or should not be, However I find that Hitlers birthday share the same day and it's seems to me soon enough right wing propganda will be circulated on the Fox with friends that Cannabis Hitler Connection.


So My propasal is to move it to febuary 6. Why? To me this man changed my life and my perception, He made me want to smoke marijuna since I was enrolled in the D.A.R.E. Program. His name is simpliy another word for ganja. His music, philosphy, and believes revolves around ganja and openly supported way before politician, became hip to the idea. His name is Bob Marley! Ask any stoner who is Bob Marley, soon enough they'll give you there top 10 songs off the back of their hands. Bob songs are synopsis to Cannabis. Walk by any aprtment and hear a Bob Marley album, You'll automaticly sterotype that person as a pot head, and want to knoe if he/she would want to get baked later on. Bob philophy alone is mind breaking. Sure his beliefs are what lead him to openly accept herb, but don't you think if herb is important to rasta, and help them meditate, and see reality in a diffrent perspective, won't you agree that all pot smokers can achieve the same things?

I won't know how Bob's family would feel about such a homage to Bob, however I know for a fact the Bob Maley smoked one pound of ganja a week. So in my opinion why not? Truly an important figure in the world, and with the right spokeperson, maybe cannabis have alegit shot at being complety legalized. If more stoners keep a low profile and a postive vibration. Doing good for Humanity maybe the stigma of those racial opressed stenched that is soaked into Cannabis history can be removed, but only if pot smokers unite, and not commit horrid crimes, to hit frontline news.

Agreed, however pay a a closer attention not just to my user name, but as well as my advatar it's one continuing message. Don't limit your self to one perception, but expand. Think about it like an algebra equation. Example:

Yeah I always did too. I would have 4/20 and the day after scheduled to be off, so I can recover before having to go back to work

It wouldn't really make sense to change it from an abstract but universal number like 420 that everyone can appreciate to a musician that only a limited number of people appreciate

My main thesis was we need to change the sterotypical views of stoners and, try to put a positive spin on the subject of legalization. We need to properly inform the public about cannabis benefits. Instead of useing a police code to stick it to the "man." We can use Bob Marley internatinal known for his postive vibes and his philosphy on humanity. It would be a new game plan. Let's face it thhe politicians aren't makeing a move on the topic of legalization for ,a list of reason, but one such that I find to be the most important is there scared to lose the office/position they hold. Due to smear campignes or headline such as:

"Obama soft on drugs"


Everyone know how easy it is to manipulate the public with fear, look at the swine flu epidemic mass histeria. The swine flu seems to me like a joke, it came out of no where throughout human lifetime, all these new diesease and such are attacking the public at a rapid pace. So we need to Educate the public, by setting examples. and also celebrating our holiday discretly. Most employers, parents, and media won't be able to catch on if we move it, they'll still believe it's 4:20. The old switch a roo!

it's not like I'm saying don't smoke on 420 l0l, agreed valid point, however the fact of the matter is simple image upgrade. it's just an idea maybe a thought for stoners to read this post, and maybe understand that we need to change the game plan for FULL legalization of cannabis. Like Bill Hicks said," I'm plating seeds, maybe they'll take root one day." I just really rather have stoners think about ways to improve the stoner image for legalization. I used Bob Marley, because I was really high and appreciated his music and what he's done and his support for the herb. Also the political message he tried to send out to the world, ya know.
