What's the deal in Mexico (P. Vallarta)?

Hey, long time lurker, first time poster. Anyway, headed down to mexico in two weeks. I know the stuff is legal there, but not exactly sure about the law. Is it legal to have, but illegal to buy/sell? Do I still have to worry about getting set up when buying... the blond hair is not gonna help me mesh in with the locals. I have been down to Yelapa, south of peurto, but didn't find nugs, yes, nugs in mexico! until my last day, when the revenge began to ravage my GI tract. Headed up to Sayulita now (north of PV). Just curious if anyone has an knowledge of the area or the exact law in mexico and namely, how it is enforced toward tourists. Thanks guys/gals. hoping to solar and roll a few while down there.

I think it's 5 grams or less for personal use there, or that's what I heard anyway.

As long as you're buying/possessing 5 grams or less, I'd guess you should be cool.

Check it out though, laws could be different from state to state, same as it is here.

Most of the Mexican Police are cool in the tourist cities/areas. Definitely a lot more laid back than the Policia around the border. I went to Cozumel earlier in the year, but I didn't bother searching for any weed (and I'm pretty sure that law wasn't into affect then either).
