funny phone call

I just got a call from our police department asking people to buy tickets for some circus to raise money for the quick 50 program.
The quick 50 program is used in high schools across the country to help stop drug dealers and violience is school by giving 50 dollars to high school senoirs such as myself, for turing in any sucspioucs activity that results in an arrest"
that is the expliantion I got about from her... so of course I'm gonna say no, but before I do I notice something, this chick is a high school senior at my high school, and i'm a senior too.... then I remeber.... this is my friends girlfriend, and she smokes just as much, if not more weed then I do!!!

I was just like "ummmmmm... no i don't think...... hey..... is this brians girlfriend??"

her:"um yea...."
me:what the hell are you doing giving your time to these pigs (as most cops in our town hate pot, and it seems they just love to bust even the most harmless stoners) trying to raise money to get pot out of our friggin school!??!



Turns out she has community service for getting a possestion charge, so now she is doing this because they cut her a deal and every hour she does this little phone thingy, they count as two hours of service..... crazy


probably the only reason i thought it was funny was because i smoked with her a few days ago, and i phone started ringing right in the middle of my first bong hit of the night

Possesion charge: blah blah dollars
Court fees: blah blah dollars
Cutting a deal, calling your boyfriend's friend for a cause you don't believe in and getting busted out: priceless

damn, programs that encourage people to be spineless narks...

hah, sounds like an easy CS opportunity for her. she didnt get slapped with any fines, did she? thats mostly what happens around here; the police write up tickets for paraphernalia, controlled substance possession, and take your stuff and drive off... better than jail time though!

o yea, big fine actually, this new judge we got here in town is a real dick when it comes to possestion charges. He usually tries for the biggest fine they can give, which is like $800 for anything under an half ounce... She got a $600 some odd dollar fine for less then a gram of nugs and a clean spoon.

I guess they can charge her with para. because she had the bud on her? It was stored in the same case if that makes any difference
