So what's it like where you live?

You don't need to post location if you prefer to remain anonymous on such a shady board. Just explain the overall aspects of everyday life where you live. I'm bored and curious to see how different the general lifestyle is in other parts of the country or world.

Where I live it's pretty boring. I live in the same town as a large Amish community so it's not uncommon to see a horse and buggy to the roads. The people are a little "bumpkin like" but they aren't the "I have 3 teeth, no education, and married my sister type"

Cops are pretty cool here. Many of them ride bikes and horses, and they tend to be the nicer ones. I can't help but feel I get special treatment from them because I'm white...even though I live up north it seems like they hassle minorities most of the time. It shouldn't bother me because I get the advantage but sometimes it does for whatever reason.

Tons of working class individuals, very few wealthy. A lot of cars on the road are junkers.

I live outside of a town with about 200,000 people. The town is majority minority (black), and is ran by a minority mayor who is elected by his own people, so it kinda sucks(talk about racism). Being upperclass white, i dont get herassed at all Unles i roll through the trap, then i look suspoect. The city police dont see me as a threat compared to what they have to battle every day. Alot of violent crime, alot of drugs, etc. The city limits are the pits. Downtown is rundown and the city limits is where a majority of the crime happens.

Most of the upper class has moved to the county. The sherrifs dept is pretty cool, for cops. They are kinda hard on drugs if they catch you, but totally lax on alcohol. In ga, everyone drinks cold beer. I work and go to school here and have lived here all my life. The school system here is shitty. 5 H.s. and the best one is only 40% white, so we have i think 8 private schools. It makes it kind of wierd because it is like 2 totally different societys (black and white) which to me sucks. Everyone gets along pretty well inside their own class (upperclass, lowerclass) but if you roll through a rough area where you dont know anyone, you might not make it out. It is a must that you carry a pistol if your going to town.

As far as drugs go, you can always score some regs in the traps in town. 5$ nics and dimes, you know, basic reg prices. It is ok when your low on cash or your source is dry because there is always weed in the trap, and u can just ride to the different ones you know till u find it. The traps also have plenty of soft and hard white if thats what your into. To get the good weed though, you have to know someone. I know several people who make trips to atlanta or savannah to get weed, so it usually isnt too hard to come by. Shrooms may be the easiest drug to find here in the summer b/c of all the cow pastures in the country. Everyone knows someone with a field. It is also easy to grow here b/c of the mass amounts of woods and fields and the climate. doesnt get cold enough after march to kill the plant and it gets hot and plenty of sunshine in the summer. But that making watering a bitch.

I have found 2 basic ways of thinking here. There is the sterotypical redneck, who loves beer and hates weed. I knows these people, but i tend not to hang around them but they do come in handy if u need some people for a fight, plus there always down to have partys at their house because they live out in the sticks with no police presence. I am in the group of what i consier normal, others condsider hippie, liberal, or anti social. I hate being sterotyped because first im not even liberal. My group gets along with everyone, blacks, whites, and everyone else, which is cool. GA is thought of as a place of nothing but rednecks who no matter what vote conservative and hate black people. Im glad someone made this thread to atleast try to prove everyone here is not like that.
There is a few things that we all have in common here. We drink sweet tea, eat grits and cornbread, and love some outdoors. To me the rebal flag stands for herritage, not hate. Growing up here has taught me a understanding for the outdoors and animals. I know people who have never seen a deer or shot a gun, ive used one to kill the other. We do alot of fishing around here too, great smoking times.

I live in a small suburb (I guess) about 30 miles away from Boston called Marshfield. It sucks. And no, I'm not afraid to post my town. Why? Because I'm sure authorities don't really care about one kid who tokes up sometimes. And as far as internet predators or whatever go, go ahead and hunt me down. I'll hit you with a guitar, tie you up, and cum in your eyes. Anyways. ;-)

It sucks here, especially in the winter. We're a costal town inside of the Masschusetts bay, so the ocean water is cold 95% of the time, even in summer. Mostly white and Irish people live here, half of which are too stuck up to own up to any other sort of heritage. We have one highschool, one middle school, and five (or so) elementary schools. The highschool is mostly white. Excluding the new freshman that are coming in who I don't know, I could count the number of Black people on two hands, and the number of Asian people
on one.

The town is mostly summer cottages, and thus in the winter, especially by the beach (I live two block from it) it seems like a ghosttown sometimes. Half the houses in this area are litereally boarded up (windows and doors) or just all shut in for 8-9 months out of the year, it's quite depressing. In summer, the population nearly doubles, and so does the traffic and number of people I deal with at my work (grocery store). We have a 'downtown' that consists of two or three hardware stores, four gasstations, a mcdonalds, a car dealership, one grocery store, two drugstores, a blockbuster, papa gino's, two resteraunts, one clothing store, two 'dollar store' deals, a library, locksmith, and tiny skatepark.

The town is devided into 'communities', if you will. There's Brant Rock, which is an esplinade with resteraunts, a few bars, icecream places, laundromatt, a peir and harbor where alllll the boats are, and a general store or two, Green Harbor, which is like, 85-90% summer homes, Ocean Bluff, again, summer homes, Fieldston which is some summer homes, but mostly perminat, downtown see above, Rexham which is summer homes, and 'the hills' which is where all the rich people live, all the white-collar upperclass ones. Oh, and Steven Tyler from Aerosmith lives up there, same with some other famous musician. Lars Ulrich, maybe? I'm not sure. I know I hate his music either way.

As far as drugs go, you can get just about anything, sadly enough. There's more than enough herb, although sometimes there are 'dry spells' that last a week or two. Mushies are starting to become popular again, and E is really big. Coke and heroine are pretty big, as are ALOT of perscription meds like k-pins, adderol, etc. I've never seen hash, though.

The highschool is flooded with drugs, and you can get just about anything, like I said. DXM is really popular amongst the highschool, as it's cheap and fun (so i've heard, i dont touch the stuff). Hell, even in the middleschool I know of a few kids who push ounces and some E and coke. It's kinda sad. Sigh.

We have a few strains of pot here. Most popular (amongst people my age) is kindbud, or KB. KB goes for 15/gram, sometimes 20 if you buy it off a few assholes, which I dont. 40/45 for an eighth, 85/90 a quarter, 140/150 a half, and 230/250 an ounce. Then there's hydro, which sells for roughly the same, if you're friends with people, which I try my best to be.

Then the older people I get from sometimes usually have mids/commercial, which for what it is is pretty good. 10/gram usually, 30/35 and eighth, you get the idea.

If I knew a middle schooler who was pushing coke, I'd rob his ass so fast. So fast.

I live in a small town outside of Syracuse. We got a lake, a bunch of rich people, and a lot of white people. Very few minorities. Lots of narrow minded people. Some resturaunts, a grocery store, some drug stores, just a little town. It's a pretty nice town actually. Weed is everywhere. Alcohol is popular, especially among the DWI collecting adults (all of them). Mushrooms come through semi-regularly. Coke if you know kids, but I could care less about that. Nothing really, at least as far as stuff that we look for goes. Pretty much there isn't much to do. Hang out with friends, burn, goto parties, the normal high school kid type of gig, I guess.

You can get anything in Syracuse if you know kids. Hit up the South Side if you want crack. Theres alot to do in Cuse, so we head out there alot.

oh yeah I guess I should mention drugs here. There's a decent amount of weed, but prices seem to fluxuate a lot. A lot of the weed around here is grown in the corn fields so if the cops find it then prices go up. Our KB comes from out of town though so it's always the same price. In the main city crack is probably the most common drug, it's sold on the street corners. Weed is too, but it's garbage. Heroin comes by once in a while but I can care less about that. Mushrooms and Acid are pretty rare and extremely overpriced. I don't buy mushrooms, I'm very stubborn because when I lived in Florida I got them for free(cow fields). Everything else I haven't seen.

My town used to be way cooler than it is now. It's full of actors and we have some kick ass theatres (plays and stuff, not movies the movie theatre sucks). The town itself is really nice, though it's kinda going downhill with all these housing complex things... I swear it's like 1984 in some parts of town. Lotsa trees, absolutely deserted streets on weeknights but no reason to fear being mugged. The cops have become real dicks in the last few years, one got fired for beating up a friend of mine. There's not a lot of big crime (theft and drugs but not much violence).

It's easy enough to get mids from everyone but if you want shwag or nug you have to meet a grower, and there are a lot of growers in town. As far as other drugs it depends who ya know, I can get everything but acid right now (even though I know there's acid around town somewhere). Coke, speed and crack are the most readily availible drugs... but I assume that's true anywhere. The prices seem to be the same everywhere around here unless you personally know dealers/growers/chemists.

There are some really cool smoking spots in town and the people around here don't care much. Then again the cops are dicks, so if you get caught you gotta be lucky... and they tend to follow people around.

Overall it's a pretty decent place to live and it was an awesome place to grow up. But now that I'm older it's kinda boring except for drugs and there's at least 3 cop sirens a night.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot the best part. Almost all the girls here are hot. Everytime I meet a tourist they remark on that and it's true.

Umm.. well I live in OKC.. it sux... Everyone here is fat, and out of shape, lots of places to eat out... And since this is the buckle of the bible belt, you have to know someone to get the hook up....Also everything closes at 2 and there aren't really any after hours spots... Good people though, they tend to be more friendly than the bigger cities (I'm from Florida, and it's a HUGE difference) For Instance, I know the neighbors on both sides of me. Of course they're both older ladies, but they are SUPER nice... they enjoy seeing our little family (me, my hubby and our 2 year old daughter) Some good oportunities for education.. higher education that is.. the public schools here aren't that good.... I'm not sending my daughter to school here (we're homeschooling) Umm, I guess that's about it...

I live in a large college town in arkansas..it's pretty cool! i'd say about 8 out of 10 girls are major hotties..we have a whole street of bars , about 4 golf courses..the campus here is huge... you have to know somone to get bud here, took me like 4 months to find somone. but all in all..it's pretty cool here like luke said...it's a lot better than the hillbilly hellhole.

Well marijuana is illegal and a lot of people grow, which is a felony. We might not consider it bad but I'm sure the feds do, which is why I called it shady. I doubt they care about some little stoner but they do care about growers.

i just moved to the sry state of AL from the great state of Ga.Prices are better here only if u want swag?good stuff is hard to come by cause i dont know anybody so if i even wanted mids or espically KB i would have to travel all the way back to the great state of Ga.
The city i live in is like everybody took their car to pimp my ride on a low budget.Its cool though cause i can smoke right out side on my porch while people just ride by but it just swag?
