Kids today

I feel bad for kids today. I was thinking about it earlier today when I saw a kid playing Gameboy on my way to work. When I Was growing up I hung out with my friends not with game boy. I also had the pleasure of blowing the shit outta something with way to many fire crackers. Kids today dont get to do that because of all the terrorism shit and what now. Kids also had good TV when I Was growing up. today its all so PC. I just felt like sharing something I noticed. what does everyone else think about this?

well young kids on mobiles pisses me off.

and like the 10-11 year olds who act tough, seriously, Whats up with that?!

as for gameboys, thats if they cant get away from their ps2s,
Theres way to many ways to waste your life as a kid now.

Its gonna suck when they look back on it.

I was going into the mall the other day to get an xbox game and some 12 yr old tried to mug me, so I told him to go find his mom and ask her for money and started walking away, so he grabs me by the arm and says "Wrong answer bitch, I'm gonna fuck you up now" So I turned around and clocked him in the face. He started crying, I laughed and said "try that again in about 8 years and it might be convincing" and walked away.

After I clocked himm, his "girlfriend" started giving me the come hither eyes. If I was into the really young poon I would've hit that shit up. I bet she gives real good head.

btw, spiderman 2 is an awesome game.

I always felt sorry for myself, for the same reason you feel sorry for kids today. I was born in 1984 so I grew up around the beginning of the BOOM of videogames(NES) and my childhood seemed to revolve around video games. I sit back and listen to all these middle aged men talk about all the cool things they did as kids and it upsets me, because I never experienced that. I watch movies like The Sandlot and Stand By Me and know that's how boys used to act, and they came out of their childhood with so many great memories. All I got from my childhood was a list of games I beat...

I know how you feel man. I went through exactly the same thing you did. I was also born in 84, and by 89 I had a nintendo. I don't regret living my life the way I did. I've still managed to experince tons of stuff, and I've had a great time doing the things I did.

You hit a kid? I dunno if I woulda gone that far. I've met some pretty angry kids in the last few years though. I'm not sure it's the violence in games though, I grew up with videogames and television and I consider myself fairly balanced. The only difference I can think of between my childhood (not long ago) and what kids today have is that the violence is real and it's all over the media, all the violence I was exposed to when I was little was in games and movies... I suppose it was because we didn't get cable.

Well thankfully I have too, just not during my childhood. All my fun came in the later years of high school and the little bit of college I've gone through. Eventually I realized there was more to life than sitting around playing games, but it was too late to save my childhood.

If I was under 18, and a lil snot nosed punk threatened my ass, I would sure teach him a lesson.

Stops him from doin it to some thug that would just end him instead of hitting him.

Humiliating him would've been the only thing that would've stopped him. Had I left it alone, he would've continued acting hard and just further pissing me off. So I tought him a lesson, I bet you his gf broke up with him and now the little punk has a black eye. His now ex-girlfriend will now spread his story of loss and humility all over school. He learned a lesson.

I'm 84 too man! I'm sure if you really think about it you can come up with some cool shit you've done in your childhood....of course I guess I can do that because I was almost ALWAYS grounded from T.V. or video games..or most of the time both. Plus the next ten years are going to kick ass!

hey okjeff don't you have to be 18 to post here? Almost all your posts are so immature, why don't you come back in a couple of years when you figure some shit out

there were a lot of games in my house when I was younger, amd there still are. When I was like 4 or 5 my dad got a nintendo, and I played that with him all the time. I would play super nintendo at friends house, but I got bored of it very quickly. when my brother was old enoughto play we got a sega genesis. I think I played it for about a week and never touched it again. We now have a N64 a PS2 and an XBOX, and I've hardly touched any of them. Ive never really had much in common with my dad, hes very competitive. he likes games and sports a lot. me, I looked up to my uncle as a kid... he was a big, intimidating guy that could kick anybody's ass, and he swore a lot and worked on trucks...as a 4 year old, i thought all that was pretty damn cool. I took up a lot of his interests. basically cars, huge trucks, speed (as in going fast, I'm definitely addicted to that), horsepower (bragging rights), women, heavy metal, guns, and blowing shit up! and I still love these things today. I didn't turn out anything like my uncle, he's pretty shallow and can be rude...but i did become a smart ass too. I'm still pretty young, but I don't think i had a deprived childhood. I shot my first handgun at the age of 7, which gave my mom a fit, and i didn't touch a gun again until I was 11. once I hit 11 my uncle showed me how to shoot a variety of guns. shotguns, rifles, hanguns, and even a magnum 6 shooter from the 60's... when i was 15 he introduced me to his illegal collection of guns, which was interesting. as far as fireworks, i was never depreived there. my grandfather goes out of state every year to buy illegal ones... and my uncle once stole a box of mortors from a giants stadium...although my mom is incredibly overprotective, i just learned what I could tell her and what I could not. But not getting caught wasn't alwasy that easy...my little brother is the biggest snitch ever...
