Temporary Bans

This is just a little information for everyone. If you are put on a temporary ban for breaking the rules or jeopardizing the vibe of the City, it is better for you to suck it up and accept the temp ban and come back when it's over.

If you ignore the temp ban and register under a new user account, your old user account and your new user account will both be permanently banned and you won't be welcome here under any user name.

A temporary ban means that you are welcome to come back. So, please accept the temp ban, wait it out and come back when it's over. It sucks to lose relatively good members forever because they can't man up and accept a short temporary ban.

Re: Temporary Bans

I'd like to reiterate that a temporary ban means that you are welcome back to our community when the ban is over. There's no hard feelings but we expect you to abide by the rules when you return.

Making a new account out of anger and then making a ridiculous thread loaded with threats, lies and other crap makes you NO LONGER WELCOME HERE.

See the difference? Man up (or woman up), accept responsibility for whatever you did, get a nice chill break from the City, come back when the ban is over, move right along with your membership and contribute in a positive manner.

Refuse to take responsibility for whatever you did, get a permanent break from the City where you are no longer welcome, never come back, never move along here and never contribute again.

It seems to be an easy choice to me.

Plus, do you really think that coming back with threats and hatred is going to make us roll out the red carpet?

Re: Temporary Bans

Just for clarification, it has been a "rule" for years that if you are temp banned and make a new account rather than ride out the temp ban, then you're banned forever. It's not a new rule. This thread was just a reminder for all of those people who get temp banned and can't handle it.
