Stoogemeister deserves to trip and fall on his face today.

I wont donate over the phone, but in all honesty, I would go to the station and do it.

I mean you help out the guys who die for dumb bullshit. And you also get a sticker that makes you less prone to being pulled over. Just because you gave 20 bux.

Too many people down police for just doing a 9-5. I mean its a career.

Too much police hate on this site.

If you donate though and get a bumper sticker, put it on your car. If a cop pulls you over and sees the sticker sometimes they'll just pull away. Happened to my parents numerous times.

No offense, I'm not as against police as most people on here, but when was the last time you even heard of someone calling 911 because they needed police assistance?

Personally I've only heard of that on TV shows with extreme cases, and in most of those situations the police don't arrive in time anyway.

I've only had experience with people dialing 911 because of medical emergencies or fires.

Police are there to catch perps after they commit the crime, their only ability to deter crime is by providing a "presence" to make people think twice. Other than that it's all about cleaning up after the fact.

There are some exceptions to that, but for the moist part the only crimes police help out with are domestic disturbances.

I got one of those calls not too long ago. I simply said I wasn't interested, because I already donate to more worthy causes.

What are these stickers ive heard about in this thread?

I gather its a sticker that says you've dontated money to the local police department.

Anybody have a pic? Any more info on it?

Because ive heard alot of times having stickers that are even police-pro that the police will still roll you because they think you got the sticker to hide what your really doing.
