Alright... I see a lot of people mention how they want the mods to post more on the open boards, and how we're never around and shit... Well, we have a lot of work, so we can't always be around like we'd like... So I figured I'd make a thread, where we can all just bullshit and whatnot... And hopefully you guys can get to know us a little better, and maybe it'll help encourage us to get our asses out in the boards a little more

So any questions you may have (so long as they're not about moderation-type stuff, like why someone was banned, etc.), ask here... The intent of this thread is for it to be a fun thread... Please, let's not drag any drama in here. If you have a question about a ban, or something of the like, please handle that via PM... So come in here... And let's shoot the breeze.

As some of you know, I'm pretty big into the party scene. Where are my fellow ravers at? Music is my life, and I'm hoping one day to own my own venue, and throw my own parties.

I'm a rave addict. I love the dance scene but I think it's heading in the wrong direction. It's becoming too mainstream. However, I'll keep producing trance and I'll keep attending because it's all about the unity.

Is most your work done in the GC Community or in the Shop?

I'll take a few of these.

Superjoint, our Webmaster owns the site. We do pretty much no work in the Shop. I'm not sure about other Mods and Super Mods that know SJ on a more first name basis, but I'm not sure, unless we lived in the Netherlands of course, how we would be able to help out with the Shop at all. All of our work is in the Forums and with making this Community a better place.

We know each other pretty well, but I have yet to meet a single Mod in real life (Hell, I've only met two or three members in the city I live in alone, let alone Mods from other states. )

And we were mostly selected after having an extensive tenure as members. There really is no job application process. You prove yourself on the open forums, and if there are spots open then several members are asked if they are interested in becoming Mods. If so, Mod Boot Camp begins. If not, then they continue on as Members.

Oh, and the Dental Plan here sucks... but we have plenty of Medical to go around.
