Salvia divinorum is definatley great. I am an experienced Salvia divinorum user, I have never had really a bad trip. I have had many trips that have built on past trips. I can tell you for sure though, I have had dozens of trips on Salvia divinorum from Level 1 through Level 5. There is a Level 6, but at that point you don't even remember the trips. I have enjoyed every single trip. I mostly stick with Lever 4 to Level 5 experiences, anything less then that just isn't really worth it.

My past couple trips have all been in this grassy field, bright blue sky. Once there was a giant elephant with a really long trunk and a ferris wheel at the end of his trunk. The next one was in the same field but this time I was up in a giant beanstalk, it was actually a really big Salvia divinorum plant. I was in a treehouse which hung from one of the Salvia divinorum leaves like a Christmas tree ornament. The next one which was just last night I was helping a goose who was able to speak with me to build a little garden fence around this giant plant.

I mostly stick with smoking Daniel Siebert's Regular Strength "Standardized Salvinorin A Enhanced Leaf" which you can order online at his shop ... http://www.sagewisdom.org/salviashop.html.

I've posted the CORRECT way to experience Salvia divinorum on this forum before ... but for those of you who had not read it and wish to experience Salvia divinorum ... I will attach it at the bottom of this post.

Daniel Siebert's stuff which I use most of the time contains 50 mg of Salvinorin A per gram of Salvia divinorum. For those of you unfamiliar with Salvia divinorum, Salvinorin A is the chemical found in Salvia divinorum which gives you the effects. There are other places which sell cheaper extracts that also contain 50 mg of Salvinorin A per Gram of Salvia divinorum, however the process they use is different and most of the time there are things added to the Salvia divinorum like alcohol to extract the Salvinorin A. So if you want a healthier effect stick with Daniel Siebert's Salvia divinorum ... if you want cheaper then go here ... http://www.salviasupply.com/store/salvia-extract.html. You will want to buy the 20x Extract there.

The Salvia divinorum trip is unlike other drugs like LSD or Shrooms. The Salvia divinorum trip only lasts about 5-10 minutes, at this time ... from personal experience ... I am not hallucinating. I am just gone, I move into a different place, time, dimension all together. I always take it at night and inside ... I mostly end up outside on a bright day. It's also extremely real, and I forget totally about the real world. When tripping, it's just like reality. I forget I took a drug, I forget I am tripping, I just am where I am and who I am, it's just reality, I just accept it.

Anyway ... here is how you SHOULD do Salvia divinorum. This is taken directly from another post I made a while back.

Salvia divinorum is definatley amazing if you do it right.

DON'T take this drug while driving around in a car, partying with friends, hanging out at a mall, walking around outside, etc.

If you are going to do it, do it right. I have had many Salvia divinorum experiences, I do it right, and every single time is an amazing experience.

Here is some advice. Don't buy regular leaves, the extract is a thousand times better. It is pretty hard to get a good trip off of the leaves, you have to take much bigger and longer hits, and even more hits.

Here are the steps you're going to want to take in my opinion to get an amazing experience. Because trust me when I say this, Salvia divinorum does not play games, it's an extremely powerful drug when you know what you are doing. So follow my instructions, and trust me ... you will love your experience.

1. Go to this website: http://www.sagewisdom.org/salviashop.html
2. Go down to where it says "Standardized Salvinorin A Enhanced Leaf"
3. Buy a gram of 'Regular-Strength' for $45
4. Once the Sally-D arrives, you'll want to break the gram into five equal parts. You will get atleast 5 amazing trips. Weigh out 1/5 of a gram, this is what you will smoke.
5. I highly suggest using a waterpipe, but if you don't have one, a regular pipe/bowl would do fine.
6. WAIT!!! Don't be in a hurry to find out the power behind this plant. Wait for the right time. I highly suggest waiting till you go to bed. Make sure it's late at night. There should be NO INTERUPTIONS ... the quieter it is, the better. Shut off the lights, lay down on your bed, smoke the 1/5th of Salvia, close your eyes, relax.
7. Making sure it is dark and quiet is essential. This is not a party drug. Taking Sally-D while hanging out with friends is definatley not good. It is essential that you be in an extremely quiet enviorment, no lights, no distractions. You must be laying down, or reclining in a recliner.
8. You will most likely want a sitter. Have a friend spend the night or spend the night at a friends while doing this. Make sure you don't give your friend any also, you'll want a sober sitter. Trust me, Sally-D trips are extreme if you follow my steps. You don't want to hurt yourself.

Now ... the basics all in one. Buy "Standardized Salvinorin A Enhanced Leaf" ... weigh out a fifth of a gram, put it in a bowl. You can light a few candles and put on some quiet relaxing music, I don't, but some people do. DO NOT play loud music with words or a heavy beat. Make sure you're in an extremely quiet enviorment. Smoke the bowl as quickly as you can, take the biggest hit possible, and HOLD IT as long as you can ... but don't overdue it. 20-30 seconds is enough. Repeat this process untill the entire Salvia product is gone and smoked. Put the bowl down, lay in your bed, close your eyes, and relax.

Trust me when I say this ... Salvia divinorum has the power to take you through different dimensions, different times, it is extremely powerful. I have taken LSD, I have taken shrooms ... nothing really compares. The reason people like LSD and shrooms more in my opinion is because they are easier to use and more pratical. Salvia divinorum should be used with extreme respect, and if done so, it will respect you back. It has the power to enlighten you, to show you things you couldn't even dream of.

I could tell you stories of trips I have had that you would seriously not even believe, but would probably enjoy. After hearing these stories you would buy some Salvia divinorum and try it yourself. And trust me, if you follow my instructions, you yourself will be forced to believe my stories, because you will also experience this magic.

EDIT: Extremely important. While smoking, when you light the Salvia, KEEP IT LIT!!! While inhaling through the pipe keep the flame on the bowl, don't spark it like weed. Keep the flame going the entire time you're inhaling. The hotter it is, the better.

Can you mix weed and salvia for a more relaxed trip?

Some say I shouldn't trip with friends, but I have two good friends, one wants to try it with me, the other just wants to watch.

I trust the watcher guy, he's not the kind to ruin a trip by trying to scare us or anything doofy. He's the kind of friend who would relax you if you had a bad trip. Would this set up be okay?

Should I shoot for low level trips, and work my way up, or go for the gusto, and let the salvia take me where it will?

I've read people's opinions on how to experience salvia, I just want other successful tripping methods.

In answer to all your questions ... NO ... I do not reccommend mixing Salvia divinorum with weed. It's such a waste. Here is what I do reccommend. Do the Salvia divinorum FIRST ... the entire experience only lasts about an hour at the most if smoked. The "Lucid Dream" state as I will call it only lasts about 5-10 minutes. So smoke the Salvia divinorum first and then relax afterwords by smoking some weed. I also find it helpful to smoke weed afterwords to open your mind and reflect on what has just happened. I am an extremely spiritual person and find that both magic mushrooms and Salvia divinorum to be teaching tools, not drugs. Same with marijuana. Take the Salvia divinorum and then smoke weed afterwords and reflect on what had just taken place.

DEFINATLEY have a sitter. It's not even a question if it would be a good setup. I can't stress it enough if you are going for a Level 4 or 5 trip that you should definatley have a sitter. I will ONLY smoke Salvia divinorum when someone else is in the room. And I go over everything with them. Do NOT smoke the Salvia divinorum WITH your friends though at the same time. If you have a friend who wants to try, you smoke first, a half hour to an hour later your friend can smoke it while you sit, or vise versa.

SHOOT FOR THE GUSTO my friend. I can't stress that enough either. Each level of Salvia divinorum is so much different then the other, expect perhaps Level 4 and 5, but they are still different. I would definatley say to shoot for a Level 4 or 5 on your FIRST experience. It's a waste to try anything less. The trip is not as good, and there is no way to ween yourself onto Salvia divinorum, each level is like a totally different experience. You might as well just shoot for the highest level. Trust me, you won't have a bad experience.

Don't listen to how other people say to experience Salvia divinorum, listen to exactly what I posted before, and follow that to the T. Trust me man, I am experienced with Salvia divinorum, I have studied it emmensely, I have researched everything about it, I have experienced every level many many times, I have experimented, I explained exactly how to do it and how to do it RIGHT.

I also highly reccommend meditating for a good 20-30 minutes before the experience and spending a few minutes in prayer. Pray that God or your Spirit Guides may guide you, that you would learn from the experience, that they would look over you and protect you. I like to light a candle and some Nag Champa or China Rain incense.

Also, download the song "Echoes from the Andes" by KODO and burn that onto a CD. That is the BEST song to listen to while on Salvia divinorum. Many times that music has come into play with my experience. For example, there was this vine growing around a beanstalk once and every beat of the music made the vine grow longer. Anything by "Kodo" or by "R. Carlos Nakai" is great for your Salvia divinorum experience. DO NOT listen to any music with words in it, you want NO distractions. Keep light minimal, ONE candle lit is fine, nothing more then that. Play the music lightly, not too loud. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

A lot of smoke shops sell Salvia divinorum. What you can do is go in your phone book and look up smoke shops or head shops in your area, call them up and ask them specifically for Salvia divinorum Extract, get 20x if at all possible.

Although this sounds like a GREAT deal ... it's not. What you are buying is regular leaves from the Salvia divinorum plant. It is extremely hard to get a real good trip from this. You would have to smoke HUGE ammounts to get a trip. And you would have to smoke it really hot and really fast. I would highly reccommend getting extract instead, 20x if possible. It's expensive, but all you need is around 1/10th of a gram to get a Level 5 experience, which is hardcore. I only reccommend regular leaves if you are going to chew it in a quid.
