anyways I tried salvia for the second time ever 4 days ago on acid, I loved it, it was definately fucking amazing.. smoked 3-4 bowls with a little weed mixed in

Damn wish I could get some acid.. It's been a good 2 years since my last trip.. Through high school I was the only one with a hookup of steady blotters in NY city. I would drive into spanish harlem pick up a sheet, pop 2, and by the time I would hit center city Time Square on the way home I'd be tripping balls with a huge smile on my face enjoying all the dancing lights of the city.. Oh driving the lincoln tunnel tripping was always fun... All those rows of lights on the ceiling, and the idea of being under water driving in a car was always a fun trip for me LOL..

He wasn't saying that he worships it....he uses it as a tool. And recommending that people respect the plant is not stupid. There are many things that aren't living that you should respect...like electricity, your car, water. Respect their power. I think he's trying to say that if you go into the experience with the mindset that its a recreational drug its not gonna be pleasant.

Respect is one thing but saying that I somehow lost to the plant is just dumb, mabye its just me. I personally dont like trippy drugs, I like feel good drugs. Mabye a better way to say it is that if you wanna absolutly trip balls to the point where its frightening then go ahead. But if your looking for something... Fun then its prolly not for you.

what im saying is that if you approach it like you would with any other recreational drug then you have a very good chance of coming out of your experience disappointed or a completely hands-down-never-ever-ever-gonna-do-that-again-cause-it-fucked-with-your-mind-so-much-that-you-cant-handle-it experience. im not saying you worship it or respect it like a god... im saying show it the same respect that you would with any of your favorite things. walk into your experience knowing that it could go south and that its ok if it does. mazatecans (sp?) used to use salvia as a "portal to speak with the dead" for a reason. they believed it was powerful and never just "fucked" with it.

ohhh and just because you dont think its "fun" dont just say it isnt... there are many people that still use it recreationally and have "fun" with it. i do not include myself in that group but that doesnt mean that i dont respect their choices. if they want to have their fun with it thats fine. just dont ruin it for the rest of us

I really want to try this, and probably will. I am scared about losing controll. I am a stable person but my thoughts sometimes are a little out there and I would never act on them, but I fear what I might do under this.

I don't think I've ever even seen anyone physically able to stand up while under salvia's influence. You're probably more likely to lose control of your bowels or bladder than anything.

In my one experance with salvia I belive me and my freind obtained a level 2-3 trip and it was after we had blazed. We smoked alot of salvia very quickly through a bong ( I had heard that was the best way, not sure if thats right). I sweated quite a bit and felt really dreamy, and saw watery rainbows outlineing everything and my freind claims to have seen like 2D smurfs dancing around my head. I think salvia is a interesting possiblity and recomend that you try it at least a few times in different enviorments. I am looking forward to experamenting further with this gateway.

I agree with most of what is being said in here, except for the part where it was recommended to use 20x for the first time? You should never try to get to the upper stages of ANY drug on the first time. It's irresponsible to yourself, your sitter, and the whole experience. People have different sensitivities to different drugs, 20x is intense even to the experienced user. It is always the best idea to test the waters first and build your way up. When you get to where you want to be, you'll know you're there, and you'll appreciate your whole learning experience more. My recommendation is to start with the straight leaf. Many people cannot trip off of the leaf since it is being metabolized faster than it is being consumed. If it doesn't work for you, then wait a day or two, and try it again with some 5x.

Salvia has a reverse tolerance. You get more and more high everytime you trip because you can learn to focus.

Although everyone here says its hard to get a nice trip from plain old leaves, I've seen videos <a href="http://www.moondreams.net/index.php?main_page=media_library">here</a> of people tripping pretty hard with just leaves. I know that leaves have varying potency so thats part of the problem. I bought an ounce of dried leaves a while ago, tried it a few times without passing level 1, maybe 2. According to the S.A.L.V.I.A. scale I may have reached level 2 because everything went kind of 2D but there were no closed eye visuals. That was using a dry pipe though. Now I have a bubbler so when I get back to school next week I will be trying again.

The BEST place in my opinion is www.plantsandbotonicals.com he makes the extracts himself, they are cheap and very good quality. I seriously recommend trying the 20x its amazing. They also have 30x for those crazies out there. BIG Strronz, can i get a link with the 60x on it? I remember I saw it it was called elephant tranq or somthing like that, would be interesting to check out again.
