What Really Grinds Your Gears?

I'll tell you what grinds my gears.

Marijuana not being legal.
I'm going to do a list.

1. The legalization would bring in mega tax dollars thus helping to repay the national debt and improving the economy.

2. The legalization would ensure no bad (moldy, pre-mature, laced/tampered..) grass would be sold and smoked by anyone thus eliminating EVERY SINGLE marijuana related emergency visits

3. The legalization would take crime off the streets because the herb would be sold in a specialty shop for a set price.

4. The legalization would take all money being given to criminals (lets face it, most commercial pot crosses the hands or is grown by an organized crime syndicate) so they will not have tons of money to start new operations, such as Crystal Meth, which can be made in a home bathtub.

5. The full legalization would create tons of jobs. Jobs in:
Cultivation
Manicuring/drying/curing
MORE HEADSHOPS
more companies creating marijuana specific nutes
and on and on

6. More people may happen to choose to drink less alcohol or none at all which would save lives at the wheel, avoid many bruises and broken bones on women (come on now, stoners don't beat their wives), liver failures, alcoholism dot dot dot, it goes on.

7. As Bill Hicks would say "I have never seen two people on pot get in a fight because it is fucking IMPOSSIBLE. "Hey, buddy!" "Hey, what?" "Ummmmmmm...." End of argument."

8. It is a plant. A part of nature. Grow it, dry it, smoke it. Nature. Nature should not be illegal.

9. The legalization would free us

10. I'm sure there's is plenty more (feel free to chyme in), but im too fucking pissed off to think more.

So thats what grinds my gears, the fact that there are all these good reasons to have marijuana legal, yet it is still illegal.

haha its starting to grow on me and ill admit i did watch the episode where they were paintballing and trying to be like the young kids on adult swim

In no particular order:

1 - All those illiterates that are too fucking stupid to write properly and say retarded shit like "ur" instead of "your" or "then" instead of "than"

2 - When people say "drugs and alcohol," like alcohol is somehow not a drug or safer

3 - The fact that salvia, which could very easily lead to someone injuring themselves, is legal when marijuana, which is all but harmless, remains illegal. Same thing goes for alcohol

4 - The astoundingly overwhelming ignorance and sheer stupidity of those opposed to marijuana after years of being spoonfed government propaganda because they're too fuckin' stupid to form their own opinions and will not listen to anything that suggests that marijuana is not the most vile substance on the face of the earth

5 - All those petty, vindictive, immature morons that use violence as their first option to solve problems, no matter how insignificant

6 - Rednecks, hillbillies and other fuckwits that somehow try to make a connection between Obama's middle name and Saddam

7 - PETA. Goddamn, do I ever hate PETA. Delusional hippie freaks

8 - Scientology. Don't even get me started on these retaraded lunatics

9 - Christian fundamentalists, Creationists, Westboro Baptist Church and especially the fuckwits at www.landoverbaptist.net (although they are good for a laugh most of the time; they even have a thread about all us "dope addicts"at GC)

10 - Pro-choice advocates. Doesn't matter what the law says, you're still murdering unborn children

11 - People who believe the first, often incorrect thing they hear or see and then later on, when faced with the truth, will argue to the death that they are right when there is an overwhelming amount of evidence to prove them wrong, much like my brother

12 - General ignorance

13 - Self-important, condecending assholes (AFD, anyone?)

15 - Parents that let their kids run around screaming and knocking shit over like lunatics in stores and restaurants and don't do a thing to stop it. Extra moron points if they say, "Oh, they're just expressing themselves; it would be bad parenting if we tried to stop them"

16 - People who are too goddamn full of themselves to understand that their opinions aren't facts and that people who think differently from them aren't idiots or strange

17 - Most feminists, because so many of them are arrogant, incorrigible, misandric, hypocritical sexists and don't even realize it

18 - The media, especially paparazzis and overzealous journalists

19 - The police. I actually used to respect them, but years of abuse of their authority have created a bitter loathing of them

20 - The American government and, to a lesser extent, all governments

21 - Environmentalists (most of them, anyway)

22 - People who take offence to swearing. Who the fuck do they think they are to tell me what I can or can't say?

23 - People who try to force their beliefs on others and start throwing temper tantrums when no one listens. For example, PETA

24 - Athiests who act arrogant and superior and refuse to even listen to anyone who says religions aren't all that bad. They can believe what they want, but they don't have to go around pretending that everyone who doesn't think like them is intellectually inferior to them

25 - As above, but for religious people

26 - All the goddamn children that can't take a few minutes to read the rules before signing up

Now Ive got alot of friends who smoke cigarettes and used to myself even, but my biggest pet peeve now is when I get smoke blown in my face from someone walking by or something.

And another.. All these kids who dont have to pay for shit, because their parents give them whatever they want. For example, this girl I know, her parents pay her tuition, and her boyfriend bought her a lexus... And on top of that she just quit her job because she feels its not necessary to work. I really hate that kinda shit. It doesnt teach anyone anything when you spoon feed them...Atleast I can look at them and tell them I have accomplished something when I earn that lexus sometime in the future. fuck em.

Agreed. I will let you in on a not so secret secret. The reason why alcohol is legal and marijuana is not is because marijuana mellows people out and alcohol "enrages" them. It's hard to get mellow people to fight un-just wars, and we saw that in the 60's. But to get drunken enraged idiots to fight an un-just war is easy. Thats the whole reason.

Salvia is relatively new to the recreational drug users world so there hasn't been much time to make it illegal. There have been talks but nothing has happened quite yet.

We do not know what happens after death. No one does. No one on this planet will ever. Not only that but we will never know how or why we were created. So to make such claims is flat out liing. THIS is why these type of people exist who put down every religion.
