Re: Oh what ever will I do?

How about instead of using the sea, to bring in guns, they use it to bring in food and fuel. FYI, israel opened it and 80 trucks brought supplies. Nice try though. I'll post a reference if you need it, but a little research should suffice.

And the canadian article i sent you adresses the school issue.

"OTTAWA — Canada's Conservative government says Hamas is responsible for civilian deaths at a UN school where Israeli mortar fire killed at least 40 Tuesday, arguing they have used civilians to shield fighters."

Re: Oh what ever will I do?

Did you even read the full article, they have been known to shoot from there before. And the UN isn't even in the war zone. The U.N is a completely useless failed organization that has repeatedly shown that it brings nothing good. IE: letting the people of rwanda get massacred by macheti's based on there tribal origins.

from the article: "The IDF on Tuesday released video footage from 2007 showing Palestinian militants firing from the school compound and carrying a rocket launcher with them as they flee the scene."

Also from the article you mentioned:
"The initial examination conducted with forces operating in the area shows that mortar shells were fired from within the school at IDF forces. The IDF returned fire," the IDF Spokesman's Office said, adding, "In the past Hamas has fired at Israeli troops from within the school, making cynical use of civilians."

The casualties included Hamas militants Imad and Hassan Abu Askhar, both of whom had fired mortar shells at troops from the school, the spokesman said. "

Maybe because the sea is blockaded by Israeli vessels? There are reports of Israeli gunboats damaging aid/relief boats. (http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/meast/...oat/index.html)

And right, I'm going to believe the Canadian government (who apparently back Israel unconditionally) over the actual director of the UN school.

And as for the article I linked to in a previous post, it very obviously stated that the video from 2007 that was released has no effect on the recent shelling of the school.

And as for the Israeli spokesman that said they were returning fire, that's definitely a credible source. Of course he's going to admit they attacked a school on accident.

United Nations investigators say they have uncovered no evidence to support a claim by the Israeli military that Hamas fighters were holed up in a Gaza school, prompting a deadly attack by Israeli forces that killed 40 civilians, many of them children. (http://www.time.com/time/world/artic...870087,00.html)

But even if there were, had Israel not been invading Gaza in the first place, they wouldn't have come under the supposed mortar fire.
