Camera Purchase

I was going to go buy myself a digital camera at best buy tonight. The problem is i don't know what componets i am looking for in a camera to get those nice close up in shots of bud. The shots where you can see the trics and everything on the bud.

Any suggestions to a brand of digital camera would be great. Thanks.

Re: Camera Purchase

how much do you want to spend?

just ask for a cam with a good macro setting.

or a digital SLR - style camera.

Re: Camera Purchase

You don't need to go all out for this like a lot of people think.
But, if you want a larger, more feature-filled (assuming) camera, I'd look at Canon Rebels. Otherwise, Kodak Easy Shares have higher mp cameras with really nice features for their price, including a setting specifically for close shots of plants.

I use a Kodak C875. I can get shots at the right angle and in the right lighting that look like they were taken with a macro lens, easy.

Good luck.
