Do you hide the fact that you smoke?

i just hide it from my fam, if they ask me i'll probably admit to it but they would never expect i do so w/e i dont think they would mind much.

I don't flaunt the fact that I toke, but if someone was to ask I would tell them straight out. My herb and pieces stay out of view, but are never really hidden.

Yeah, this is an interesting situation. All of my friends know, both at college and back home. My parents do not know, nor do any other adults as far as I know. At school, some people seem to know (word gets around fast), but none of the girls I have been involved with in the past year knew anything about it...

i hide it only from my parents and older relatives. it would cause them such heartache if they found out, so other than that, nope.

Same as quite a few people here no, I don't hide it. I am however, quite discreet about it.

I used to hide it, then my mother found a bong, we talked, and while she didn't specifically say she was okay with it, she have a very "Out of sight, out of mind" attitude to the whole affair, and I respect that.

My dad doesn't mind, and other family members are inconsequential, I'm not really close to any of em.

With people I'm meeting for the first time, I don't tell em I smoke, I don't see any point, if they find out eventually then they find out. To my mind walking up to someone and saying "Hi, I smoke weed" is no different to walking up and saying "Hi, I drink" or "Hi, I can drive", slightly odd and pretty much pointless, people will find out if they need to, and if they don't it's no matter to me.

I have to hide it from my parents or I'd probably get kicked out. I hide it from my family as well for safety reasons. I keep it quiet from a few friends too because I know if I told them, word would spread to unwanted people and I'd end up... out of the house.

I only hide from my family and my boss. I have hooked coworkers up with sacks and i like to blaze freely but i have exceptions. When i was younger i got caught smoking in my room like three times. It didnt help the cause that the entire room was packed with smoke and i had a bong in my hands. I just always own up and say ya im smoking or smoke to my parents. It was easier to me to just say ya than go get piss tested. That was a couple years ago and now im on a dont ask dont tell thing with my parents. I still leave my bongs out in my closet and keep nugs at the feet of my buddha statue. I figure if they are gonna go lookin through my stuff then they will find whatever it is they are llookin for

I walk into fast food places and smoothie places and shit giggling with my buddies and stuff, with cashed eyes and shit... I don't hide it in public but when I get back home I usually keep it straight.

i hide all my paraphernalia just because you never know whos going to be walking through my apartment, and i will never usually bring it up unless someone does it 1st

well when i started smokin wayyyyyyy back in the day, i got caught up a few times by those rents, i finally just said flat out a couple days after my 16th birthday, "i smoke weed, nothing you do is gonna change that".... seriously i lost like 4 or 5 glass pipes from getting busted by my mom and dad.... over my dead body was i gonna let them take my bubbler haha so i took it out of my room showed it to my mom and said "this here is my 1st piece, and even if i never smoke out of it again NOBODY and i mean NOBODY is gonna take it from me and or break it"

ive never been searched and or questioned since... and that was about 8 years ago
