..and you're right, we all relate to different words differently. There's no way for someone making a post to know if a word he/she uses will inadvertently offend any single individual.

And it's also possible to use the blandest of words in a very derogatory manner..

and besides, forums with bans on certain words that are full of members who respect and say "swim," are boring ass forums. People here honestly feel like they know the other people on these forums, its a city, it really is. Take away our personalities and we are just another group of people politely asking eachother for help...

It's this type of post that's in question. It's a generalization that isn't welcome here. Yeah, there are "bitches, hoes, and skanks" out there but not every woman fits that generalization. While I think the example pointed out by the OP didn't fit the argument, I agree with the main point. Mutual respect is something that we try to promote within the City; it's kind of like the stoner thing to do. No one is asking for special treatment; just mutual respect.

If you have a "hoe" in your face, throwing up "the" hoe flags, then she's a "hoe"...but if she's not a "hoe", she's not a "hoe".
