I'm sure you would just be so depressed if you couldn't go out in the woods and shoot an animal with your super powered arsenal, but I'm sure the millions of people who have lost loved ones to senseless gun crimes would find it sensible. It's idiots like yourself who think we need abide by the constitution word for word as if times haven't changed in 300 years and as if the world we live in hasn't been shattered by people shooting each other every day. So go ahead and enjoy having all your guns so you can avoid starving and all since we know you're one of those "purposeful" gun owners who try to justify having enough weaponry to take over Rhode Island. You sir are a complete moron and people like you with your contrived and stubborn line of thinking are part of the reason why our country is so messed up. The thing is, there's a decent amount of people in the country that live in rural areas. In places like this, it's tradition to hunt. An even smaller part of people believe in self sustinence for one reason or another.
I can think of one reason why
I wouldn't buy meat from a store. Factory farms pump their livestock full of antibiotics and god knows what else.
Other people live so deep in the woods trying to escape the 21st century that they reject our modern ways of living. Hunting is a way of life to these people. I highly respect that.
There also shouldn't be a limit on the number of legal guns you own. You need different weapons/calibers for different game. A good friend of mine probably owns more than 50 different weapons and he's a law abiding citizen.
