A thread for all things Star Wars!!! Now I know some people will post up in here saying Star Wars is for kids and to grow the fuck up.... Well, obviously you are just a closet Star Wars fan and taking all that pent up rage out on your fellow nerds. How can people not like Star Wars (prequel movies excluded)? You have a great and sweeping epic of a story, Carrie Fisher in THE hottest outfit of all time (first time I got an erection too! fun story), Han Solo the most bad ass character of all time (Malcolm Reynolds holds a close second), and fucking lightsabers!

So all Star Wars fans post up in here. Be it a cool Star Wars picture, a cool story, your favorite movie, any toys you may have owned, your opinions on the prequel... Any and all things Star Wars baby, it all makes me hot and bothered.

I guess I will start out with the greatest movie of the series. Empire Strikes Back. Anyone who says A New Hope or Return of the Jedi just don't know what's up. It has the best story, no fucking ewoks, Luke is not some whiny bitch (But Uncle Owen, I want to go to the academy now! All my friends are going.) shut the fuck up Luke and grow some balls, you are supposed to help save the fucking universe for crying out loud. Don't get me wrong, Return is great. You've got the slave outfit, the awesome Rankor scene in Jabba's palace and dancing slave girls, but the fucking Ewoks ruin that movie.

Empire has Lando Calrisian, need I say more? Yoda training sequences? Battle of Hoth? Every single fucking frame of that movie makes me want to revert back into a 6 year old and prance around the house with my pilot helmet (with blaster shield down) and light saber and pretend my dog is a Rankor.

i used to be really into it with my bro. As much into it as playing the CCG game that they have. I haven't played it in years, but i think my bro may still have my cards(he quit too), shit that was years ago. I still have a shitton of action figures though that are pretty old with all the cutout cards that come on the back of the package.

I was into it when I was younger I had 1 of those lightsabers as a kid lol. But just recently theyve been running em on spike tv and ive watched em all great series.

I collected the cards as a kid, and I kept all of them that were "worth money." I'm not some fanatical fan, but I do appreciate it as some of Lucas's better work. And they were some childhood movies.

Just last weekend I actually sat down to watch The Empire Strikes Back... On an original VHS copy. That episode is my favorite of the bunch, but God is it amazing what technology can do!

Im not trying to poop on your star wars party, but I just dont get it. Yea they were good movies.. but I see people dressing up as the characters in the movie and going to conventions for it.. thats ridiculous. Im a product of the 80s too... I've never been a fan, sorry.

yeah, my grade and the grade before us in my highschool had a small "following" going,,,we had alot of fun making stupid star wars movies at the premiers (((me fight my friend with a subway sanwich footlong....yeah,,,we got "PRETTY CRAZY"

my fave memory involving star wars was when it was me, james *a now current x* his cousin and one other friend i dont remember who tho..came over and we played star wars edition monopoly and watched the entire saga front to back untill we ended the game...it was great

Star Wars remind me of my childhood. Watching those movies as a kid was always great. Star Wars was really based on samurai movies that I also watched as a kid so that is weird. Look up Yojimbo and the scene from where they go to the bar looking for Han Solo. Where Obi Wan cuts the guys hand off at the bar, it's a scene from Yojimbo if memory serves me.

Yeah, I own Yojimbo and it is actually my favorite movie. Lucas is a big Kurosawa fan and the plot of Star Wars is lovingly ripped from Hidden Fortress (another classic).

And The Ewok's Adventure was good, when you are 10. It don't age well at all.
