fucking selfish.

the rolling stones, aerosmith, etc. can handle illegal downloading,

the newly budding bands cant.

dont be selfish, support your artist.
In doing so, you're supporting the labels that continually fuck over their own artists, and also, vicariously, the entire culture of artistic deprecation, soullessness, vocal pitching, and pro tooling that these labels and their pawns embody

if you really want to help the artist, download their music and send them money directly. If you want to help Captain Cashbucket buy his 10th sports car, buy a cd

well if youre gonna say that then by that philosophy you shouldnt buy tickets either.

most often, the band has already been paid for that performance, its up then to the producer to sell tickets.

all that ticket money goes to the producer and the venue, not to the band at all.

so where you gonna draw the line?

filesharing will never come anywhere close to revenue from ticket sales
