I was seaching opium forums, and people keep saying things like "SWIM just doesn't buy opium because you never know wtf you're getting without access to some kind of test equipment or kit" and "SWIM has only done opium a couple of times" or "SWIM found that it's really hard to pay attention to things"
It seems like there refferring to themselves but i dont understand why they're saying SWIM.
Anyone know?

Haha we don't do that a lot in this forum, but I know other drug forums that do that constantly.

it is to prevent self-incrimination. when you write a swim story, it's generally about a hypothetical character or friend of a friend and their drug experiences. because you wouldn't self-administer illicit substances, would you?

forums that religiously use SWIM annoy the hell out of me...read story after story of SWIM did this or SWIM thinks that... it gets old, thats why i love GC

Allow me to answer your queastion, SWIM simply stands for.. Someone Who Isn't Me. Apparently that works from a legal standpoint. Better safe than sorry I guess.
