Salvia Divinorum growing!!

So i just picked up a salvia divinorum plant yesterday, it appears to be very heathy except for a few leaves half way up the plant that have black spots on the edges. Im not sure if its a lack of water, or lack of sunlight?

How do i go about cutting leafs, should the stem be cut with the leaf or should i cut the stem off right at the stalk?
I've got a few leafs drying already from them falling off...

Im currently storing it in a room at about 70 degree's next to a window.

Any help and information appreshiated,

dont waist your time 1X the extract which is it in its natural form is pretty mild. Prolly have to smoke a joints worth to feel a good trip

yeah for all the 'trouble'/work/effort you put into it...its not gonna be worth the product/high its gonna give.....i'd say get a whole bunch of them....then when its ready..harvest/make extracts..then you'll be good....but I say with all that..just go and buy the shit from online/headshops

Lots of online places that sell them...you could proble even get them on ebay.

I relize that just the dried leaves themselfs arnt very strong, but my objective isant to get so fucked up that im scared, and i start falling down a endless black hole. The extract seams almost to strong from what ive read. But incase the leaves dont do it, i'll learn how to make extract.

But its a lota work...like you guys already said, id rather smoke a shit load of regular dried leaves

haha a joint of 1x would do NOTHING. smoking salvia in a joint to begin with doesnt work nearly as well as a bowl or bong with a torch lighter because the burning temperature of the chemical in salvia is a lot higher than weed, a burning joint isnt hot enough to get the most out of it.

and yea you'll have to extract it yourself.... you probably wont get that much out of one plant, you need a bunch of plants for like 1 gram of 20x....i'm not sure if thats true, thats just what i remember reading

Not sure if its natural, but my dried leafs are literly turning blackish...

i am having the same problem, i bought a plant on ebay and i keep it in a humidity tent with a wicking system but all of the leaves have black around the edges.
