Ritalin (Methylphendate) Dosing

Basically, what I'm curious about, is how much you're prescribed. For those of you out there who are lucky enough to have a prescription for ritalin, how much do you get a month? and in what doses, how much a day, extended release or instant....

I was just wondering what a larger crowd is generally getting.

I am in the far minority in that I'm prescribed ritalin for treatment of narcolepsy and not ADHD (primary diagnoses).

My dose consists of:
20mg extended release, x2 a day
10mg instant release, x2 a day

So I receive 20mg extendeds x60 and 10mg instants x60 per month. I was under the impression that this is a higher amount on the scale.

And I am no newcomber to the abuse of ritalin, years of experience, I've just obtained a legal prescription these days.

I've heard mixed things about ritalin- then again a lot of the people I know who have taken it don't know much about drugs at all.

It's basically an amphetamine. Adderall is a combination of four different amphetamines basically, and ritalin is a very similar compound, but acts a bit more like cocaine, actually. both are very similar, some people "prefer" one over the other, but they're pretty damn close to the same.
