So, my computer got a virus.... need help

A few weeks ago my mom left for 3 days so I heated the whole pool to 100 degrees and thew a party. Some chick I know, but not very well was in my room using my computer for like an hour and i could see her thru the open door but i was drunk and in the hot tub talking to people so I didnt get out to see what she was doing. cut to the point, a short time later my computer took a dump on me.

It started with the pop up ads. every website i went to lanywhere from 5-10 popups would show up, and half of them would just show an error message saying page couldnt load. Its bullshit. Then the redirects began. i would type in a URL in the adress bar, and it would redirect me to some gay ad site or a singles site or any of another things i was annoyed to see. Would also happen when i clicked a link.

Now When I hit CTRL+ALT+DELETE I get a message saying CNTRL+ALT+DEL disabled by adminaster. When I fall asleep with my speakers on i get woken up in the middle of the night by pop ups that start loudly talking about family guy shit or sport scores. and i have to wake up and close 40 popups. My hard drive space plummeted to zero, i checked it. 16 GB. 16GB.... not even a MB....needless to say my pc is running slow as hell. My desktop wallpaper changed itself to a message saying "WARNING SPYWARE THREAT HAS BEEN DETECTED ON YOUR PC YOUR IP ADRESS IS ####### AND VIA THIS ADRESS AN UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS WAS GAINED BY ANOTHER COMPUTER. IT IS STRONGLY RECOMENDED TO INSTALL SPYWARE" It goes on a little more. an antivirus softwear installed itself magically and asked for credit card numbers to remove viruses, then reinstalled itself again when i removed it.

I need help, I cant have outdated expired virus softwear but im not about to put a creditcard number on this machine in its condition. I have tons of music, movies and all sorts of shit on my computer I desperatly wana save. If anyone out there is awesome with computers, nows your time to shine and help me out. And oh yeah, I know this is what I get for letting some broad handle my keyboard.

If you are using XP try Safe-Mode With Networking Support. (Restart and hit F8 at boot)

if you can't access the web because of redirects, etc. best thing to do is wipe ur hard drive and start fresh. now you'll know and back up your important data in the future.

it's too difficult to diagnose and solve a computer problem unless you're there working on it, so if you can't do it yourself take it into a computer repair place if you have to recover the data.

in the future install top rated/downloaded anti-virus and anti-spyware from CNET's download.com

EDIT: btw, its pretty obvious it'd be really dumb to put a CC# into an obviously fake anti-virus program.

I would suggest trying safe mode with networking support before formatting/reinstalling.

If you can use housecall chances are you can fix your problem. If not... Reinstall, making sure you have the latest service pack for your Windows OS before reconnecting to the Internet of course.

Fuck mac waste of money.

you can install the mac os on a pc btw.

do all those scans in safe mode and post a hjt log. Theres no need to reformat and reinstall the os unless you just wanna start everything from new again.
