I LOVE AMERICA and I love being patriotic
I had to say it. No matter how many flaws we have I love it. It is my patriotism. I love how our country is so patriotic and everyone one else is not. I love shoving it in people faces sometimes. Everyone country has their sterotype and I kind love ours.
I dunno I just wanna screem I LOVE AMERICA!!!!

I wouldn't say I'm patriotic, but I'm so happy that I live in the USA as opposed to some poor places in Africa. We have so much more freedom compared to other countries and in general, we just have a shitload to be grateful for.

It's Capitalism (or rather Free Market Communism) that we love. Europeans are "proud" to be European, Australians are proud to be Australian, Japanese are proud to be Japanese, etc., etc... Anyone with a good life is proud of their Country. Anyone with a bad life blames their government. The rest of the world is catching on and as time goes on, the standard of living will continue to rise for all.

I don't know man. For the longest time I was proud to be South African because of the land and the things I grew up with. Now I'm proud to be an American for what this country stands for, at least in theory. Not saying you're wrong, just from my perspective thats how it is.

If you ask me I am one patriotic American to the fullest. I'll be chanting USA on the 4th no doubt. You are right about the government's flaws though. Franklin Rooselvelt signed the executive order to intern members of my family during WWII even though they were born in America. My grandfather and his brother fought against the nazis in a segregated unit in Europe. My great uncle died and my grandfather was wounded. He is the definition of patriotic IMO. Family locked up, property and businesses stripped, and still fighting for the country cause they are Americans just like everybody else.

I love the principals that this country was founded on... Our history is amazing... We started as a small colony, and less then 300 years later, we are the most powerful nation in this solar system.
America is something I will lay down my life for its continuance.

I don't like patriotism...
I kinda see it as more of a negative triat. It always gets mixed up with nationalism. And they can be similar a lot of the time..
