The game is comin along nicely. After the name is decided in this thread (I'll prolly let voting and people's suggestions go on for like another day or so) then I will make an updated thread about the game.

This isn't much of a suggestion, but I'd just like to say I always prefer weapons in zombie games to have a real meaty kick and sound to them, get what I mean?

good point thank you. 2 gun sounds were improved today to make them sound better and the damage was upped on the better guns.

Nah, graphics are from online websites offering free commercial graphics, donations, and some other sources. Same with sounds and music. And coding is 2 people

maybe get some androids in there too and you can call it Zomborg or Zomboid

the zombies of course you shoot in the face and the androids you shoot in the gut where their battery pack is at.


as for your ending:
maybe you find some info about the projects being run at the facility and you find stuff about machinery and batteries that never die due to kinetic energy always building a constant supply of power to the machines.

then some pictures of the experiments and you see stuff that looks like a human but when you see some with the skin torn off you see the machinery and your like oh fuck they are making robots. so then you gether all this paperwork so you can take it with you as prove of the operations and then you go through this room where you see a bunch of these machines. they are just lying there on a bunch of tables and when your lady friend goes and touches one of them, it moves and starts to gain itself by moving some more.

then you start to walk away from all this and you turn around and there is an android and it looks you up and down with a smile on its face like it wont hurt you but then its eyes get all red and you see from its POV and its got all these comands running through its visual circuitry and such. then it lashes out and grabs your lady cuz IDs her as a priority 1 test subject.

so now you need to save her but in the mean time the first android that she touched has gained its power and woken up a bunch of other androids by touching them. and when the one grabs the chick you go to shoot it but the others that are now awake are after you so you need to take them all out but the room is filled with them and to the first time player who doesnt know, it would take him a second or two to realize that shooting them in the head isnt exactly what you need to do to kill it.

so you are shooting the wires out of these things but they keep moving on the floor cuz the batteries are still being powered by their kinetic movements. so you run away to a door where there is a new weapon, EMP blaster.

any electronics in the range of say 5 feet of the blast point gets knocked out so its likes an EMP shotgun.

then you are on your way through then next room when you hear the cries of your lady through the door ways and so you must follow.

then you eventually catch up but its too late cuz the elevator doors have closed and they are going back down to where she started.

so you need to find a way back down there cuz you fucked everything up on the way forward. so you open the elevator door and climb down the cable til you hit the elevator. then you climb in and with gun ready you press the button to open the doors.

now you are in the secret basement area that they do all the nasty shit in. blood all over the walls, guts on the floor, a head laying on the tile floor next to a closed door saying "authorized personel only".

you go through all the rooms and find most of them locked but the ones open just arent any better than the last one. but you hear another scream and you run toward it and find this android thing trying to strap down the chick again but she is putting up a fight and runs toward you when she gets free and when she gets behind you, you let off a pulse and it fucks up the whole room. shuts out the lights, shuts off the equipment, and shuts down the bot.. or so you think.

now this bot is special cuz he is gonna fuck your shit up. he turns back on and you see this red light blink once and grow to a steady glow. then it gets up and you have an all out attack.

this thing wont die cuz its doing whatever you do to program your enemy characters to do that you need to get him at just the right moment and he just isnt offereing it that much and even then your regular weapons wont cut it you need to find more EMP charges so you run through this maze and this thing is tracking you down like a fuckin beast.

everyso often it cuts to see his POV and he is tracking your thermals. but you end up getting to a safe point and you get your charges and then you try to set a trap or something and you need to get up behind the fucker and tack his ass out. literally. his battery pack and backup biogenerator is in his ass so you need to sneak up and put an EMP up there. and kaplow.

"EAT THIS BITCH!!!" and so and so

but as you beat this fucker another thing comes around and its a friend from your past something like that and you recognize him and you are all happy to see him but he is all fucked up and staggering like one of those zobies and thats what he is, but you see his torn flesh and see that he is an android too.

so you dont know what to do. so you run.

good start to and ending to me. and to think i just came up with that sitting her for 15 minutes.

Yea we're working on a good balance. We'll find a way to make it a challenge but part of that will also be finding the ammo. the more you look, the more you find, the more u have to spare
