Xbox 360, Wii, PS3

Well Christmas is coming up and I was wondering what should i get myself. A 360, a wii, or a ps3.Also why should i get the one you choose.

Hey man. I'm voting for either the xbox 360 or maybe wii. I personally have both the 360 and ps3 and am looking for a wii now. The reason why I don't mention ps3 is because I think the selection of games is still pretty shitty. I mean some games will be fucking sick on the ps3 such as gta4, but it's going multicross platform anyway. Xbox already has a decent amount of games out now especially halo 3 and bioshock and some others that are coming out really soon. I haven't gotten the wii yet and kinda hesitated up until now, but i think the gameplay is pretty cool. I like the new zelda and I'm really curious about the new smash bros game thats out.
If i was you I'd check out what games are coming out and pick based on that. Just keep in mind most games come out on all systems and very few are just for one system.
If you're looking for online play, i wouldn't base it on the ps3 being free. While it's free I don't think its all that great. I still think that while you have to pay for xbox 360 that it seems to be better. I found that on ps3 not many people were online and it was kinda just shitty overall. I only have tried fear though on ps3 and based it what it was like for pc online play.

Wii and Xbox 360 are the best choices IMO, PS3 is mad expensive and doesnt have any good games plus their blu-ray dvd thing is gonna go under in a year or 2

its come down in price now though. it's only like $400, but i agree even then it makes it the most expensive system still.
The worst part is the newer systems are NOT capable of playing old ps2 games. the 20 is shitty because is doesn't come with wifi like the 60.

Sony only made so many of the 60GB PS3s, knowing that, I bought mine back in September.

nicely said i agree with this no doubt. Id go for 360 over ps3. Only downside to 360 imo is the ring of death. I just got this on my box maybe a week or so ago.

So ya, I kind of think 360/ps3 is the way to go if you want a HD shooter. I think one of those is the way to go.

I have a Wii, and i find it the most enjoyable to sit down and play. Its not childish at all, im 21 and i enjoy playing mario galaxy, its relaxing and enjoyable. where as halo 3 for example, is not relaxing, I get pissed when i die 30 or 40 times.

Wii is an all around chill system. 250$, I do not regret buying one at all. Theyre still almost always out of stock at the stores in my area as well, so I got lucky.

It all depends on what you want..HD shooter?? go for ps3 or 360??

looking for all around fun and chillness, Wii. I will say the Wii motes are fucking fragile as hell tho, I thnk the wii motes are cheaply made. The more beatings a Wiimote takes, it will get increasingly sloopy.

PS3 imo, price tags not that bad and the whole backwards compatibility thing is a silly argument a PS2 cost next to nothing get one if you want to play PS1/2 games...

You could get a 360 and get to play it every now and again when it isn't broke though whatever

For anyone with a PS3 or planning on getting on check out Drakes Uncharted fortune games a fucking blast beats the shit out of Gears of War.
