Weed law arguement

Can some people post links on what the laws on weed are basically, my moms freakin out sayin they are gunna confiscate my house if weed is found in my room.

I know the law for that, I just want evidence that they can't take away the house. My mom said they found a half bag of weed in some dude she knew's truck and that they auctioned off the truck, and she's saying they can do the same with the house.

EDIT: well my mom just came in crying saying how she doesn't wanna argue cus my bro might have cancer and stuff like that. He supposedly might have a tumor on his collar bone, and hes gettin it checked today to see if its cancerous.

He might not have had the money to pay the fine so they took it

What are the laws on paraphenelia? Are vaporizers, hookahs or bongs illegal to carry or bring on a plane(in luggage of course)?

Yeah the only reason they would take any of your possessions is if you failed to pay the fines. And "half a bag of weed" doesn't mean anything... that could be anywhere from .5 grams to 5 pounds. If it was a small amount and they took away the car its because he didn't do what he was supposed to do. I couldn't imagine them taking your house unless there were some pretty serious charges against you, like commercial growing or trafficking of large quantities.

They can if they charge you with intent to distribute and can anywhere near close to prove that you could have used drug profits to but it. wont happen tho..... Just dont have massive amounts, and know the law.

If they don't have any THC residue on them, then they're totally legal in most places. There are exceptions of course, I have heard of places where bongs are completely illegal, but I'm pretty sure that's rare. There's also a lot of assholes in positions of authority who like to abuse their power, so you're taking a bit of a risk either way.

my aunt had MASSIVE amounts, plus 5 plants growing, didnt even get jail time or her house taken...

however, she didnt use a public pretender...
