What should I be more worried about? (Q about a party last night)

Alright so Im at this after party from a dance i went to. I asked my friend to go as a date cause I know she really likes me... Alright, so we go to the dance and its all fun, nothing bad happens, we hook up just dance and have fun. So we get to the afterparty and I tell her half way thru i have to go to the bathroom.. I get out and my friend tells me she is dancing with this guy... Im like whatever, fuck, that sucks. I feel bad for myself but i let it go. I walk back to my friends to grab a drink and they tell me this guy who shes dancing with has raped or by the sounds of things, at least sexually abused (wait, is that the same thing? ha) women before(ie: forced sex on them when all they wanted was a kiss or maybe just not quite sex).

So i couldnt fall asleep last night! Im worried for a lot of things, but tell me, what should i be more worried about? My best friend who I was thinking about goin out alot more with, going off and dancing with this guy when i leave for a dew seconds... Or her involvement with this man who has hurt a few women before... I know she has his number and that he has already called her and its only been 5 hrs since...

i've had similar experiences where the guy was a friend of mine, even then you need to step in and make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. you can't put up with that kind of shit.

Nooo... I drove her home at 2. I just said its time to go and took her from him but I wouldnt talk to her in the car or kiss her goodnight. I felt played and was very confused at everything that happened...

Sorry dude, just by the tone of your op it sounded like that. Plus if you really did care about her you probably would have at least tried to intervene and let her know as a friend you were worried that she might be hurt by this douche who has a history of hurting girls.

The best thing you can do now is figure out how you can sweep her off her feet and be with her, if that's what you want. Otherwise I would say stop worrying and let things be. If you let your feelings be know she will learn sometime or another that those other douchebags are jerks and you are the nice guy who wants to be with her for the right reasons. Girls need to go through a few douchebags before they figure that shit out.
