Crushing Adderall XR to make Adderall IR?

I've been getting a bunch of generic Adderall IR as well as name brand Adderall XR, and I really prefer the instant over the extended, but the name brand I hear has a much better effect than any generics. Since I can't get my hands on any Adderall IR name brand, I was wondering if you take the beads out of the Adderall XR capsule and crush them and drink them with water, will that produce the same effects as an instant release adderall?

I've heard this can be done, but I'm unsure and want a clarification.

someone correct me if im wrong, but if you crush up the little beads then you are just taking the timed release away so I would assume it would be IR.

I also read in another thread that crushing the XR destroys the active ingredient? Is that true?

Yes this is true.

My buddy used to get these in high school with the little yellow balls.. they go everywhere, so use a little bag or something.. but yeah if you crush them up, your getting rid of the time release.

Hey its a pain in the ass and messy BUT

If you take 2 of the 30mg XR pills and crush up the beads, and put the powder back it in ONE capsule, it will BARELY fit but it will. Thus a 60mg IR. You'll be geebin' dick off that.

yeah we used to take 60mgs all the time.

shit i railed one one day before inschool suspension, and usually id just sit there and hit on whatever girl was in there that day.. but that day i was a fucking scholar.. then headed to work where i looked like a fucking G.

Adderral does have negative side affects, shaking, and loss of appitiate (sp?) but its still one of my favorite dr0gz

Better to just take it the time released way, lasts longer.. Just break open the capsule and dump it down the hatch.

The IR is way more effective than XR for recreational use. Which is why most doctors go for the XR these days. If you are trying to get your doc to start prescribing IR instead of XR, here is what you do:

A lot of insurance companies will not cover expensive, brand name, extended release drugs if there is a cheaper generic version of it.

Tell your doctor that you have a new insurance company does not cover the brand name XR, and to prescribe the IR so that you can get the generic. They're not gonna second guess you - it's completely logical.

Whether you actually buy brand name or generic Adderall IR is between you and your pharmacist, not your doctor. You just have to ask specifically for brand name. Not all pharmacies carry it, though.

I actually learned this from my doctor... we have a good relationship

whether u crush it up or not, it'll hit pretty hard and pretty fast.
i'm on 60mg AT THIS VERY SECOND xD, and i just took the pills w/o crushing them or anything.
ther designed so that 1/2 hits u right away, and the other half is delayed release over the next 4 hours, so if u take a pill every 2 hours or so, as i am doing, then ur flying high.
i like the XR because then the high lasts more than 24 hours, cause it has a half-life of 10-13 hours if u dont tamper w the delayed release

and 60mg rly does a lot for most of u? i dont do adderall often, but 60mg doesnt do much for me. the first time 40 was good, the 2nd 60 was good, and this time i'm pushin it to 90
